My love of dogs started when I was an infant. My Mom loves to talk about how our dog, Aspen and I were inseparable. I will never spend a moment of life without a dog of my own. The only time I ever have was the (agonizing) time of my college and apartment days! My husband, Steven and I have had our Gaia dog since she was 6 months old and she is now 10. Our other little girl is a mini australian shephard and is 8. Steven and I have been working through Rover for 10 years and we moved to Montrose in 2020 and continued hosting dogs here. We both contribute to our rover work. Steven usually stays for overnights at homes while I take care of our pups (and farm animsls) at home. We feel honored to be entrusted in to care for your furry friends. I love being able to give dogs that important time outside while their best friends are at work and to minimize the anxiety that we know too well about leaving them home alone. Over the years, our clients have relied on us to walk, feed, and take care of their pets while they work or go on vacation. We love hosting dogs overnight as well but it is only a possibility with certain dogs (very little barking and not too overly playful). This is just because we work from home and we hsve a studio style home where we have to sleep in the same room as the dogs. We also often do drop ins for dogs multiple times a day at their own home. We are experienced gardeners so we can take care of your garden in the summer as well. We are usually available during morning, night and early afternoon hours for walks. Exact timing will depend on the number of clients we have already to fit in during those hours and if we have taken any other gig work during the time frame. Let us know how flexible you are and a range of hours that would work for your pup and we will let you know if we can make it happen! Our work is very flexible, so we have a lot of half hour+ breaks throughout the day with only 4 to 6 hours of online work total most days so if he stays at your house, he can play/walk with the pups during his many breaks. Most of our work is online so if you have good enough internet speeds one of us (or two of us and our dog!) will be able to stay at your house nearly the entire time. We pay special attention to detail and go through checklists multiple times so that we won't forget anything that is asked. I always double check everything as well.
