I’m a special education teacher looking to pick up a side job doing something I love—caring for dogs! I grew up with two dogs and have always been around them. In college, I helped my roommate care for her dog every day, so I’m very comfortable with daily routines like walks, feeding, and playtime. I’m a patient, responsible, and loving person, and I will treat your dog with the same care and attention I would give my own. You can trust that your pup or older dog will be in good hands and well cared for while you’re away.

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make it a priority to follow their normal routine so they feel comfortable and secure while their owner is away. I will make sure they are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of exercise through walks and playtime, and receive lots of attention and affection.I also respect each pet’s personality and needs, whether they are energetic and love to play or prefer a calm environment. I keep the home clean, follow any specific instructions the owner provides, and make sure the pet feels safe and cared for. My goal is for both the pet and owner to feel completely at ease while they’re apart.

Brooke was great! We met with her a few weeks before we went out of town so she could meet us and our pets, and she immediately made us feel comfortable. She took great care of not only our dog, but also our tortoise and fish, which gave us a lot of peace of mind while we were away. She was kind, reliable, and easy to communicate with throughout the whole process. We would definitely recommend her and would absolutely book with her again!

Schedule
I follow an elementary school schedule, so during the school year I’m available anytime after 3:30 PM on weekdays, unless there are breaks from school I’m available! On weekends and during the summer, my schedule is much more flexible and I’m available most days and times. I’m happy to work with your schedule to make sure your dog gets the care and attention they need!
