Senior + Special Needs Expert
I’ve been caring for pets for over 12 years and currently share my home with 2 cats and 1 dog. The kitty distribution system has hit my household hard! My crew includes a diabetic cat with pancreatitis and a senior cat with vestibular issues, so I have lots of hands-on experience with senior and special-needs pets. Over the years, I’ve also fostered animals with a colorful array of health conditions and previously volunteered at my local shelter (before moving to Denver) for 7+ years. So it's safe to say I’m skilled in administering oral and injectable medications, fluids, and wound care. If you're into feeding your pets raw food, I am more than comfortable with that! I live in the LoHi area and would also love to take your dog for some fresh air during the day! I enjoy a good walk around the city and local parks and can adhere to training protocols you are working on to help keep consistency when you aren't home. I am more than happy to provide care for all of your fur-family! Whether it’s feeding, attention and playtime or or keeping up with a medical routine, I’ll treat your pet with the same care I give my own. Because I live in an apartment, please note that drop-in and walking services are most preferred :) Boarding may be taken on after discussion with pet parent!

Brooke took fabulous care of my cat! She was extremely communicative and won Roxie over right away -- which isn't easy to do! Brooke also administered Roxie's meds without any issue. Super appreciate her care and will book again!

Schedule
I am currently home full-time so I can watch over your fur babies as much as needed. I am active and enjoy the outdoors! My husband and I live in a home in Englewood with a fenced in backyard and plenty of indoor lounge room!

Safety, trust & environment
Boarding: My home has a fully fenced in backyard and a home where they are free to roam and allowed on furniture (if allowed by parents!) Walking: I will ensure fitted collar/harness and to adhere to training protocols your family is working on. In-Home Visits: I understand some animals dart at the door, have anxious tendencies, need time warming up, etc. I am more than happy to work as slow as needed to gain your pets trust.

A typical day
AM includes walking, feeding and often park playtime with others. Midday: outdoor backyard time and a good nap PM includes walking, feeding and lots of attention before bedtime I work to stay as close to your routine as possible!
