I've been caring for my own pets since I was 15 - starting with my angel puggle, Sandy. She went to the rainbow bridge at almost 17 years old 🤍 As an adult, I adopted my first dog on my own at 18. His name was Tobi, and he passed away in 2022 from a heart condition. Sandy and Tobi both taught me everything I know about caring for dogs. I am very familiar with medication administration, health-related things to look out for, and how to make a dog feel at home. While I was still living at home in the last few years, my dad and I took in 3 rescue rabbits over a period of a year - so I also have 3 years of experience caring for rabbits. I am familiar with free-roaming practices and their specific dietary needs.

I can’t say enough good things about Brooke and her husband! I never worried for a minute about my little boy monkey. She sent several pictures daily, updates on how his day went and how he was eating. I have used Brooke several times and would recommend her to anyone that’s worried about leaving their dog because she gives them so much attention
Stanley here! I give Brooke a solid 4 paws up. Her and her hubby loved me and took wonderful care of me. I heard that she kept my humans updated with a large number of super cute photos of me. Normally, I don’t get along with other doggies bu I really enjoyed the fury company they provided.

Schedule
I work remotely from home, so I have plenty of time in my daily routine for pet care. I spend much of the day at my desk or on my couch, where your pet is welcome to snuggle up! I also have plenty of downtime throughout the day for walks, drop-ins, or just soaking up some sun in the backyard!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a 10-pound adult male long-haired chihuahua to keep your pet company. I have a secured backyard with two small grass lawns. I also have an unfenced pool, which is great if your pup enjoys taking a swim, but it is also something to consider if swimming isn't their strong suit. I do not leave pets unattended in the backyard. I'm happy to kennel if you or your pup prefer, but I do not provide kennels. Your pet will be allowed on beds and furniture. I can also drop into your home, but I am not able to stay overnight.

A typical day
A typical day begins with some morning sunshine in the backyard, followed by breakfast of course! An hour or so later, we take a walk around the neighborhood (if the weather permits) and then spend the morning/afternoon getting some work done on the couch. We’ll take a few more backyard breaks throughout the day before having dinner followed by a night time walk!
