My partner and I have been around dogs our whole lives — large breeds, small breeds, and everything in between. We have a particular passion for King Charles Cavaliers; I grew up with Tuffy, my partner with two white labs, and we still care regularly for Drax, my parents' Cavalier. It is not book knowledge — it is a lifetime of genuinely knowing the breed, including the heart and ear health things worth keeping an eye on. Living in London without a dog of our own, we became the go-to pet people for everyone around us. Over five years of last-minute trips, long work days and weekends away, we cared for family, friends and neighbours' dogs. Every dog is different, and reading them quickly is something we got very good at. I work from home full-time, which means your dog is never left alone for long stretches and genuinely slots into our day rather than being managed around it. We have a fully enclosed private garden, a calm smoke-free home, and no other pets. I ask about your dog's routine, habits and any medical needs before every booking so there are no surprises for either of us.

Brooke and James were fantastic dog sitters for Luna. They communicated clearly and asked good questions in advance, and sent regular updates and photos. It was our longest time away from Luna yet and we felt confident and arrived home to a very happy pup.
Brooke was amazing with my beagle Bea while I was away for the week! She kept me updated with photos, gave her plenty of walks, and treated her like her own. Highly recommend!
Brooke is fantastic with dogs! I've known her for over 10 years, and her love for animals is obvious. She cared for her own dog, Sandy a white lab, with so much love and attention. I highly recommend her!!

Schedule
I work from home full-time, so your dog is never left alone for long stretches. We start most mornings with a walk, then it's free access to our fully enclosed private garden and company throughout the working day. I adapt entirely around each dog — some like to be nearby while I work, others want more back and forth. Either is absolutely fine. Photo updates go out throughout the day.

Your dog's safety and comfort is everything to us. We have a fully enclosed private garden, a calm and smoke free home, and no other pets to worry about. I am experienced with breed specific health needs, including heart and ear care for King Charles Cavaliers. For house sitting, I treat your home with complete respect and keep everything exactly as you left it. I always ask about your dog's routine, habits and any medical needs before a booking so there are no surprises for either of us.
A typical day
Morning walk through one of our local parks, taking quieter routes that suit smaller or calmer breeds. Back home, free access to the enclosed garden, plenty of company while I work, and regular breaks throughout the day. Evening wind-down walk and a settled bedtime routine. You'll get photo updates throughout so you're never left wondering how they're doing.
