Passionate about animal care
I have had and loved animals all my life. Since I was young I've always had animals around me. My passion for animal care began when I would watch family and friends animals, allowing me to experience taking care of animals who were elderly, blind, deaf, epileptic, diabetic, and had hypothyroidism. I began volunteering and eventually taking a summer job at my local shelter, where I learned I wanted to build a career in animal care. After gaining my certificate as a Veterinary Technical Assistant, I went on to study Animal Bioscience in University, where I am still currently studying. To this day, I still love animal care and am passionate about learning everything I can about animals. My goal on Rover is to give animals a comfortable, safe and happy experience with me, even if it is only for a check in; to give owners peace of mind their pet is getting proper care and to give pets a positive experience whenever they are in my care.
Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
I have had training on harnessing and walking animals, as well as experience in kenneling, feeding and monitoring animals. I have experience administering medicine in pill form, through IV shots and in liquid form orally, if required. I have learned and experienced a variety of medical conditions and am quick to learn how to do any specific care instructions your pet may need. I have handled a variety of breeds and species, ranging from toy sized breeds to large breeds, all with differing care and feeding instructions.
Ratings and reviews
Brooke has always been an excellent care giver for the dogs and even helps to train them while on their walks. They are truly excited to see her every time and are ready to rest after a good walk.
Brooke is a fantastic help when it comes to animals. Her experience with small and big dogs is outstanding. I’ve had Brooke take care of my own larger Dog and has done amazing work and even helped with some quick trainings for my pup! She is truly phenomenal!

Schedule
Currently, I am on summer break from University and therefore have a decently open and flexible schedule for pet care, all days of the week are open for me.
