DO NOT BOOK THIS PERSON!! She doesn't even deserve a 1 star. We hired Brooke to stay with our dogs from Friday 11/21/25-Tuesday 11/25/25. Brooke assured us she would be staying at our home and not leaving the dogs for more than 4 house at a time. We have a Ring device on our front door which records anyone entering or leaving the house for safety. We didn't even notice her comings and goings until late on Sunday when we looked at the recordings of the Ring device and discovered that out of 57 hours which she should have been with our dogs, she was only there 23 hours. When we realized she was leaving the dogs for 5-7 hours at a time I texted her and reminded her that she had agreed not to leave the dogs alone for more than 4 hours at a time. At that point we were so concerned that we changed our flights to return a day early arriving late on Monday night. We did not want to confront her about this until we arrived home since she had a key to our home and our dogs but we had no choice . On Monday, she arrived at our home at 4:27 am and departed at 8:53 am. When she hadn't returned by 2 pm, I texted her again to determine when she would be back? She said she had a medical emergency. At this point I was so angry that I texted her back and asked if she had a medical emergency every day since she had left the dogs every day for hours. She said we had mold in our house which had made her sick. We do not have mold in our house and have hired many dog sitters though Rover and no one had ever had a complaint. Brooke returned to our home later Monday afternoon and in anger left the key to our house on the kitchen counter and snuck out the back door leaving our house unlocked. This was a horrible experience and I hope no one else has to experience this dog sitter.

Brooke is awesome, I truly appreciated her time date don’t caring for my Fur-Son while I was away. I loved it when she sent me photos of my baby and he looked happy. :)

Brooke did a nice job feeding the cats. They have never been left alone before and seemed pretty chilled out when I got home. She was also good with communication.

We met ahead of time and I went through Buddy’s schedule including not leaving him for longer than 4 hours. She did not follow directions on day 1 or 2. Half way through day 2 I asked a neighbor to finish the last night & 1 1/2 days. We had a 2nd opinion out of state for my husband. It was very stressful for us to work with rover 2 days in a row.

My two boys (a golden retriever and a goldendoodle) seemed to love their time with Brooke. She sent daily pictures and walked the dogs frequently while keeping the house in great shape. Highly recommend her.
