Hi, I’m Brooke! I recently graduated from the University of Virginia with my master’s degree in Data Science and am relocating to Miami. I have been a Rover sitter for more than three years, and caring for dogs has truly been one of the most rewarding parts of my life. I am dependable, attentive, active, and committed to treating every pet as if they were my own. Whether your dog needs long walks, playtime, cuddles, feeding, or a calm and comforting companion, I will follow their normal routine and make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you are away. My flexible schedule allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to each pet in my care. I also understand how important communication is, so you can expect frequent updates and plenty of photos. I carefully follow every pet parent’s instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications, routines, and household rules. I always prioritize safety by keeping pets supervised, securing doors and leashes, and paying close attention to their behavior and comfort. I also provide regular photos and updates so owners can feel confident that their pets are safe, happy, and well cared for.

Had to leave my dog last minute for an out of town trip and Brooke was excellent with my high energy German shepherd. 10/10 recommend. Will definitely book again.
Brooke was so great!! Easy to communicate with, sent tons of pictures, and Jax had SO much fun in her back yard collecting sticks and running around! Would definitely recommend and book again in the future!
Brooke is fantastic. My pup has a lot of energy and he comes back more relaxed after staying with her. She is very responsive and easy going.

The overall experience with Brooke was fair. She updated me with photos, answered texts etc. Where my negative review comes in is on pickup day. Upon booking we are able to reserve time slots. I reserved 12-2pm on Monday May 4. I booked with Brooke at least 12 days before I actually dropped off my dog on the morning of May 2, . Brooke is/was a student. There was no discussion of my 12-2 pick up time being an issue at all, until the day of pickup. I was in route to get my dog at 12 when Brooke said I couldn’t get her due to an exam. She said come at 1. Never mentioning that she needed to go back to school again and take another exam. Then requesting that I be there by 1:30. I had already gone out of route because my 12 PM pick up time was inconvenient for her. My point of leaving this review is that with all of the time leading up to my pick up, Brooke knew when her exams were and her exam times and she should have communicated with me so that I could have worked with her to move things around. This has left a sour taste in my mouth and will not use her again. A little communication goes a long way. Ultimately this left my dog being left on her deck, yes behind a secured gate, but nonetheless my dog was left unattended on the property until I was able to get to her.

Schedule
I recently graduated from UVA with my master’s degree in Data Science and am moving to Miami, so I currently have a very flexible schedule. I have plenty of time to dedicate to walks, playtime, feeding, companionship, and maintaining each pet’s normal routine. I am available throughout the day and can provide consistent, attentive care.
