Knowing the way to an animal's heart is usually through their belly (same goes for me, honestly), and it makes bonding that much faster. No detail is too small — the more I know, the better I can take care of them like they're my own. No conversation about animals is wasted on me!
A typical day
I tailor the day to whatever your pet actually enjoys. For dogs, that might mean puzzle toys, mental games, training reinforcement, or running around until we're both worn out — high energy or slow and sniffy, I match their pace. For cats, I'm just as happy playing with a wand toy and chasing red dots as I am sitting quietly nearby if they'd rather be left to their own business — I let them set the terms. And if you've got anything more unusual in the house (reptiles, small critters), I'm comfortable there too — animals of all kinds are kind of my thing.

I've been surrounded by animals my entire life and have built a career around caring for them — including work as an adoptions manager, kennel manager, and veterinary administrator. That background means I'm comfortable with dogs of every size, breed, and energy level, from high-energy pups who want to run laps with me in the yard to seniors who need a slower pace and extra patience. I have hands-on experience administering medication to dogs and cats of all sizes, and I'm especially confident with elderly and special-needs animals. My experience also extends beyond cats and dogs — I've worked with everything from hamsters to lizards to tarantulas, so if your household includes an unusual pet, I'm not fazed. I have reliable transportation and will happily work around your schedule to find what fits best for you.
