Pet care experience

I speak all species!

I've been surrounded by animals my entire life and have built a career around caring for them — including work as an adoptions manager, kennel manager, and veterinary administrator. That background means I'm comfortable with dogs of every size, breed, and energy level, from high-energy pups who want to run laps with me in the yard to seniors who need a slower pace and extra patience. I have hands-on experience administering medication to dogs and cats of all sizes, and I'm especially confident with elderly and special-needs animals. My experience also extends beyond cats and dogs — I've worked with everything from hamsters to lizards to tarantulas, so if your household includes an unusual pet, I'm not fazed. I have reliable transportation and will happily work around your schedule to find what fits best for you. I'm always reachable by phone, so please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns before, during, or after a booking. I'd love to meet you and your furry (or scaly!) friend — looking forward to it!

Pets

Safety, trust & environment

I care for pets in their own home rather than mine, since I have my own animal household to manage. I find this actually works out better for your pet too — no new environment, no new smells, no other animals to navigate. Just their own space, their own routine, and me making sure they're comfortable, safe, and loved the whole time you're away.

Brooke was fantastic,we couldn’t be more pleased. This was the first time ever using a sitter for our dog Mia and we were a little nervous about it but through the night I received pics of my Mia who looked happy and content.I would definitely recommend Brooke to watch your fury family members.Thank you again.

Brooke was my dog walker and dog sitter for over 2 years and she was amazing! My Labrador absolutely loved being with her, whether it was for a walk while I was at work or whether it was for the weekend or longer when I was away. Brooke is attentive, loving and extremely caring of pets. She loves all animals and treats them all like her own. Your pet will be in the best hands with Brooke. In addition, Brooke sent me pictures to show me how my pup was doing, kept in touch with me and was always on time. I never had a worry with Brooke. Brooke is the best and she will always have my highest recommendation.

Brooke is the best! She’s watched my dog multiple times and each time he gets so excited to see her. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable, compassionate sitter.

Schedule

My schedule is wide open, which is great news for your furry friends! I'm job hunting, but that leaves me with plenty of flexible time for walks, drop-ins, or boarding — mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, you name it. If you need a sitter who can actually work around your schedule instead of the other way around, that's me.

Please let me know about any special needs, quirks, or circumstances your pet has — and don't forget their favorite snacks or treats! Knowing the way to an animal's heart is usually through their belly (same goes for me, honestly), and it makes bonding that much faster. No detail is too small — the more I know, the better I can take care of them like they're my own. No conversation about animals is wasted on me!
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
