Animals have been in my life since I was a little girl, and I've always had responsibility for them. I am 52 years old, an almost-empty-nester, in graduate school and need a little side job to fill my time. I have 3 dogs and 1 cat of my own. I volunteer at the Humane Society of North Texas weekly. Back when I was working full-time plus with young kids at home, I would have done anything for a reliable, loving dog sitter to give my pets some attention and exercise during the day. I would love to help you - and them! - fill that need!

Safety, trust & environment
Animals are my first priority (next to my kids). Each day I walk them at least an hour in my neighborhoods, and every other day I take my German Shepherd for a run (I don't take the other two Wheaten Terriers, they get too hot and my older dog gets too tired). I play with them often throughout the day. When I am gone I crate them all, which they do willingly. At night the Shepherd gets crated (he is still in puppy stage) and the Wheatens sleep with me. I will care for your animals exactly like you want me to, and with the love and attention that I give my own.

Brooke was perfect. At our meet and greet I was immediately at ease and so were my pets. Brooke is clearly very experienced with pets and my dogs and cat grew to love her quickly. She was professional, polite, gave timely and meaningful updates with photos and used her initiative and intuition to care for my pets while I was on vacation. She even left me a little welcome home gift as a bonus. I would 100% hire again and recommend to family, friends and fellow rover users.

Brooke is fantastic—this is the second time I’ve booked her to check on my cat, and she’s been great both times. She’s a clear and reliable communicator, sends thoughtful updates, and shares great photos. It’s obvious she genuinely cares about pets, and I’d absolutely book with her again.

Schedule
As I said I am older and have more time available since my children are grown. I have a flexible schedule, and can, in many instances, help out last minute. I prefer not to do early mornings (6-8am) - I am terribly unreliable before 8am 😂
