Care for Dogs, Cats, and Exotics

Hello, beautiful soul! I'm Novalee (Legal Name, Brooke) A little about me: 🦎My first pet was an iguana! 🐶🐈‍⬛️🦎I love 4 dogs, 4 cats, and 3 exotics 👩‍💼Stay at home business owner ⛑️ I help my best friend rescue Bernese Mountain Dogs 🐕🚶‍♀️I was a dog walker for 3 years while I was in college My services: * First, I must address that my home is a fixer upper. That means at times, my husband will be working on our house renovations for a couple hours in the evenings. We renovating slowly and will keep boarding dogs in mind when doing so. There will be times where drywall is being replaced, new flooring is being laid, and renovations will result in a louder home environment. We work as fast as our budget allows so it's not a daily occurrence. If you have any questions or concerns, I'll be happy to address them during out meet and greet. *We our whole backyard fenced in with a doggy pool, toys and a cement pad to sunbathe on. *Our village is walkable so short walks are available if requested. *Non-reactive dogs can be bathed for an additional service fee. (All dogs will be spot cleaned if muddy conditions cause dirty paws and bellies.) *Dogs must be friendly with other dogs and cats. Some growling and barking is normal during the first couple stays but if either of our pets just don't seem to mesh well, I will suggest alternative care for the safety of our pets. *Unaltered males and females are allowed. If females are in heat, please provide a diaper with pads as well. *Your pets are at home with us which means, they're welcome on our furniture.

Doggy Day Care • sep. 16, 2025

Per usual, our senior dog LOVED his stay with Novalee (aka: Brooke)! They spent the day walking around the neighborhood, napping on the couch and sniffing all the smells in her backyard (my dog's favorite thing to do!) Novalee was a dream to communicate with: prompt, friendly and extremely accommodating of our schedule. We will absolutely book her services again in the future!

Doggy Day Care • jul. 21, 2025

Novalee (aka: Brooke G.) is an amazing dog sitter and we cannot recommend her more! On the days our dog was scheduled to be with her, we needed early drop offs and flexible pickup times - both of which she easily accommodated. Our senior dog had the absolute BEST time hanging out with Novalee and her husband and their puppy crew (he slept like a baby after coming home because he had so much fun playing!) We absolutely 100% recommend Novalee and will definitely utilize her in the future when we need to go out of town!

Pets

A typical day

Our typical day is spent outdoors (weather permitting) in our fenced in backyard with other dogs friends. We'll play with fetch or tug and sunbathe in the warm sun. We'll cool off in the shade provided with our trees or splash in the doggy pool. When weather is an issue, we'll put on movie and cuddle up on the couch with potty breaks.
