I am a stay at home mom with a 12 year old boy. Outside of school drop offs, errands and appointments I am pretty flexible with my schedule. I normally know things in advance too so I am prepared to work with your schedule.

We are new to the area and just bought our first home. While I love all animals we do not have a fenced in yard yet. I would not let your dogs roam my yard without some kind of harness and leash. Our home is very secure we are working hard to make it as pet friendly outside as it is inside.

How well they interact with other dogs and children, if they are kennel/leash trained, and any specifics on what they may HATE/LOVE. We own our home so we appreciate your honesty about your pets, whether they are or not potty trained, any destructive traits (chewing household items such as doors, furniture, ect., diggers). If your pet has any special care needs or anything out of normal care needs please let me know in advance so I can prepare properly. Medicines, diets, exercises, ect.
A typical day
I will walk your fur babies twice a day but also they can play in our fenced in front yard or our concrete space in the back. I love to walk to the park around our house. For the more active breeds I have a 100 foot leash to bring to fields so they can run a little longer and faster. I have plenty of toys but if they have a favorite one I encourage sending it with them.

Pet care experience
Our family has had cats and dogs our entire life. My husband is military and we have a 10 year old son. We travel alot and go on many camping and hiking adventures, if it's possible our animals come along with us. Rover has allowed me to not only work part time but also have an affordable way to care for my pets when we can't take them with us. Our animals are like children. They are loved, fed and scolded similarly lol. Our 5 year old Aussie/retriever/sheepdog mixed mutt is very friendly and loves new guests. Our 9 year old tabby cat keeps to himself but will definitely make an appearance to greet you and your pet. I strive to bring my animal mom and dads peace of mind while they enjoy their time away from their fur babies. 😊 I am a stay at home mom/wife so my schedule is very flexible and I am home most of the time with the occasional grocery trip, errand or appointment. I am available 7 days a week even in last minute situations I will do my best to accommodate your needs. In my home my animals roam free. It isn't often I kick them off the couch, bed or even the counter lol. I am constantly playing fetch and refilling catnip daily. I even speak to them as if they are humans (don't lie, so do you lol). I work outside in my garden and the animals typically follow. They are important family members in our home and I'm happy to clean up after them, feed them and give them all the love they deserve! Your pets would be in loving hands and welcomed with open arms by my fur and human family! In your home I will respect however you normally care for your pets of course. Again, our dog is very friendly and well socialized with others but he is very good at social cues if your pet needs space.

Shortly after our previous walker relocated we found ourselves in the stressful situation of finding a new walker. We immediately found Brooke on Rover and were impressed with her profile and eagerness to drop in and meet our pups. As soon as we met Brooke & watched her engage with our pups it immediately put our mind at ease. Her kindness, professionalism, and love for animals were apparent and we couldn’t have asked for a better walker! We are excited that Brooke is now a routine part of our pup's lives.

Brooke and family did a great job caring for our two dogs. She took the best pictures of the dogs during their stay to keep us updated on how they were doing. They were both tired the first night back and didn’t have any re-adjustment, we really appreciate the care that Brooke showed our dogs.
The best! Brooke and her family are so welcoming. Our labrador, Winnie, felt happy in their home right away. Their family dog (as well as the other dogs they watch) are great furry friends too! My dog was happy coming and going and we plan to use Brooke for all future trips. Love the neighborhood too!
