Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I work remotely three days a week (MWF) and am free on weekends, so I'm home, available, and never rushing. No leaving pets alone for long stretches.

Information Brooke E. would like to know about your pet
No breed restrictions . . . EVER. I just ask that you're upfront about triggers, reactivity, quirks, and any medical needs or medications. I've handled anxious, reactive, and leash-aggressive dogs. It is helpful to provide an emergency contact and vet contact. All info is helpful! Especially any idiosyncrasies - if your dog only eats when you pretend the bowl came out of the microwave, I will absolutely do that. I'd rather honor their routine than wonder why they won't eat.
A typical day
Walks, fetch, enrichment games, zoomie sessions, I follow your pet's lead. Need a real workout or a calm neighborhood stroll? I'll match their energy and stick to any routine you have. Whatever makes your pet happiest.

Pet care experience
I've been caring for pets since I was 15 years old- it's how I paid my way through college as a D1 athlete, and it's a passion I've never put down. Now nearly 30, I bring 15 years of real, hands on experience with dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. I'm a dog mom to a rescue German Shepherd who came to me anxious, fearful, and people-reactive. I know what it takes to build trust with a shy or scared dog: patience, consistency, and zero pressure. I also have experience handling strong pullers and leash-reactive dogs safely. My family has rescued and fostered animals my whole life, including dogs at end of life requiring medications, diapers, and mobility assistance. I've housebroken dogs, bottle-fed kittens, and volunteered at an animal shelter in graduate school working with dogs of all sizes. I also worked professionally with a pet sitting company in NJ serving both cats and dogs. I'm an athlete and personal trainer with an active lifestyle. Your dog will actually get tired. My sister is a veterinarian and is always a call away for guidance or emergencies. Your pet is in experienced, loving hands. I look forward to meeting them :)

Reviews

Brooke was able to drop in on my dogs in a pinch, and came over beforehand to meet them and get instructions on what to do. She is very nice and was able to get my shy dog outside, staying a little longer to work with her! Pictures were also sent of two happy puppies ?

Brooke was great in all respects! Very communicative and responsible, We’ll certainly use her again!
Brooke took such good care of Marley. She was great with her and sent pictures during her drop in. She responded quickly and was very dependable. She is very caring and it’s evident that she is a true animal lover. I am confident that Marley was in good hands

Brooke is super trustworthy and was very loving to my kitties. I received an update with pictures for every visit. She was very responsive. I highly recommend and will use her again! Thanks Brooke :)
