Pet care is a central part of our daily routine. As a stay-at-home pet parent, I have a highly flexible schedule and full availability to provide attentive, consistent care. In addition, my husband is an animal lover who helps support pet care around our shared responsibilities, allowing for even more supervision, companionship, and attention throughout the day. Together, we prioritize each pet’s individual needs, maintain their normal routines, and ensure they receive plenty of exercise, enrichment, and monitoring in a safe and loving environment.

Information Brooke D. would like to know about your pet
I am comfortable working with dogs of all temperaments, energy levels, and medical needs. My experience in both animal shelter and veterinary hospital settings has prepared me to confidently handle a wide range of behaviors and situations. My husband is also very comfortable around dogs and helps provide additional supervision and support, allowing us to maintain a safe and attentive environment. I also strongly value preventative care. For the safety of all pets in our care, I believe it is very important that pets are up to date on vaccinations and are maintained on appropriate flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. Preventative medicine plays a key role in protecting not only your pet, but others as well. I always appreciate knowing ahead of time about your pet’s specific routines, triggers, health concerns, medications, fears, or preferences so I can provide the most appropriate, safe, and personalized care possible.
A typical day
I love incorporating fun, enriching activities tailored to each pet’s personality and energy level. For active dogs, this may include long walks, playtime, fetch, light training reinforcement, puzzle toys, or outdoor adventures. For puppies, I focus on structured play and positive reinforcement to encourage good habits. For senior pets, I prioritize gentle exercise, mental stimulation, and calm companionship. My husband is also an animal lover and enjoys being involved in playtime and companionship, which allows pets to receive even more attention and interaction throughout the day. For cats, I incorporate interactive toys, laser play, feather wands, enrichment activities, and plenty of affection (on their terms!). Our goal is to keep every pet mentally stimulated, physically active, and emotionally comfortable while you’re away.

Pet care experience
What sets me apart from other sitters is my extensive professional background in animal care. I have over ten years of hands-on experience working as a veterinary assistant and in animal shelter settings, which allows me to confidently care for pets of all ages and medical needs. I am especially comfortable with puppies who need structure and basic training reinforcement, as well as senior pets who require patience, medication administration, and close monitoring. I recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Coastal Carolina University and am currently applying to Doctor of Veterinary Medicine programs. I am certified in Dog First Aid/CPR as well as Adult and Infant CPR/First Aid, and I am deeply committed to animal welfare. Additionally, my husband and I work together to ensure pets receive exceptional care. He is a devoted animal lover and is able to provide extra attention, supervision, and companionship around our shared responsibilities. Together, we create a consistent, safe, and loving environment where your pets’ comfort and well-being are always the top priority.

Brooke was WONDERFUL!! She cared for our Keanu as if he were her own. She’s great!! Will be booking with her again. THANK YOU BROOKE. 💕🙏🏻

Brooke was amazing! Kept us posted daily about our animals well being. Took amazing care of all 5 dogs which is a job. She even cleaned our house! Could not have had a better first Rover experience.

Brooke was wonderful! Very communicative and sent us pictures of our boys often. We could tell she truly cared for our dogs and we also could tell they loved being with her. She takes great pride in her job and it shows. We definitely will be using Brooke the next time we need a dog sitter.

Brooke was great! She took such great care of our pups and treated them like her own! She gave us tons of photos and kept us up to date while we were on vacation. She gave our elder pup his meds and made sure both got their treats and plenty of snuggles. She kept our house tidy as well. I definitely would recommend her
