Hello!! I’m Brooke, a third -year veterinary student at the Texas Tech School of Veterinary Medicine and a Texas A&M graduate. Caring for animals has always been something I’m passionate about, and I know how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your pets while you’re away. My goal is to make sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, loved, and cared for just like they would with you. 🩺Experience: I have been pet-sitting for families for over a decade, and throughout the years, I’ve learned so much about caring for pets and, just as importantly, helping their owners feel comfortable and confident while they’re away. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pets in someone else’s care, and I strive to provide the same love, attention, and reassurance! Additionally, I have several years of hands-on experience in veterinary medicine, including working as a veterinary technician in both general practice and emergency settings. I’ve also cared for pets in boarding and shelter environments, so I’m comfortable with a wide variety of personalities, routines, and needs. If your pet requires medications, I’m experienced giving oral, topical, and injectable treatments with care and confidence. This experience has taught me to recognize changes in an animal’s behavior and notice when something may be medically concerning. I’m attentive to the little things and will always communicate with you if I notice anything unusual or anything that may need your attention. ** Any income will go directly toward living expenses and veterinary school loans, so I truly appreciate any opportunities, referrals, or recommendations. Schedule
⭐️Availability⭐️ Weekdays: 7:00-8:00am, 12:00-1:00pm, and evening visits, typically after 5:00pm. This can vary depending on my schedule. Please feel free to reach out if you would like to adjust time frames and I would be happy to make things work for both of our schedules. Weekends: Flexible availability. 📸When you book with me, I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages each visit so you always know how your pet is doing! I know being away from your pets can be hard, so I want to make sure you feel confident and at ease knowing they’re in caring and good hands. ♥️ 🏡 Staying overnight: For house sitting, I don’t stay overnight since I have pets of my own at home. I’m happy to come by and spend plenty of time with your pets and make sure they’re well cared for throughout the day—I just wouldn’t be staying the night. I always like to clarify that upfront so there are no surprises! 💰Pricing: My pricing is based on several factors, including current rates from local Rover sitters, my years of pet-sitting experience, my professional experience in the veterinary field, and Rover’s 20% service fee that is deducted from the initial booking charge. I always try to be very intentional with my pricing and keep it as fair and reasonable as possible while still reflecting the experience and level of care I provide.
