I spent the past spring caring for a sweet German shepherd named Lyla. I’ve taken care of my family dog since I was very young. I also grew up a dog sitting for my neighbors and the families I babysat for. I encountered many breeds and many sizes of dogs with various energy levels. I continue to dog sit at school for friends on sports teams, who have to travel for the weekend. I used to volunteer at the Nashville Humane Association for a few hours a week while I was at college. Here I got exposure to all different kinds of breeds of cats and dogs. I really enjoy working with and being around animals. As my life is too uncertain to get a pet of my own, I will take any opportunity to spend some time with animals and others’ pets!
