It's also helpful to know their energy level, favorite toys or activities, any quirks or fears (like loud noises or vacuum cleaners), and their feeding schedule. The more I know, the better I can keep them safe, happy, and comfortable while you're away!
A typical day
I love keeping pets active and happy! For dogs, I enjoy going on long walks, playing fetch, or exploring a local park if they're up for it. If they’re more laid-back, I’m just as happy to cuddle up and give belly rubs. For cats, I like to bring out their playful side with feather wands, laser toys, or just some quality lap time. I always tailor activities to each pet’s personality and energy level to make sure they feel safe, loved, and entertained while you're away!

Hello! My name is Brooke Adams, and I have a passion for caring for animals that extends to over 15 years of experience. I've had the incredible opportunity to raise three seeing-eye dogs for Southeastern Guide Dogs, where I honed my skills in obedience training and nurturing the unique needs of working dogs. Beyond that, I've been a trusted pet sitter and boarder for neighbors in our community, providing a safe and loving environment for their furry family members. Personally, I share my home with my own beloved dog, who is three years old, and I grew up alongside a cherished family cat. These experiences have taught me patience, compassion, and a deep understanding of animal behavior and welfare. Whether it's training energetic puppies, providing gentle care for seniors, or simply offering a comfortable home away from home for pets in my care, I strive to ensure every animal feels happy and secure. I look forward to meeting new furry friends and continuing to provide exceptional care for pets in our community.
