I am a teacher with full-time availability for doggy day care, walks, or checking in on your furry loved ones in the summer! Once the school year starts up, I am only available on weekends.

When caring at my own home: I have two friendly dogs of my own, with a very large backyard for play time. The yard is split into two separately fenced areas, which allows for some quiet time from my own dogs if necessary. When caring in your home: I am comfortable crating your furry friend, administering medication, and following special feeding instructions if necessary. I send regular photo updates, along with feeding/water updates to ensure you know that your loved ones are safe and cared for.

Let me know if your dog has any tricky behaviours/preferences/allergies before booking. If I am required to feed your furry loved one, provide feeding instructions with the booking request. For walks, please indicate if your dog is trained off-leash or not, along with their walking habits (preference for a side, if they pull, if they walk well with other dogs, if they can walk with a stroller, etc.) Note: I do have two dogs of my own and a toddler in the house. She is usually away during the day, but her toys will still be around, and there may be a day when she needs to stay home.
A typical day
When we have nice, sunny days, I have a splash pad and a kiddy pool for the dogs to splash around in! My dogs love to "bob for apples" with tennis balls in there to burn some energy. Additionally, we spend some time exploring the neighbourhood and heading over to the park to smell all the new things! Having two separate yards, I am also able to provide some downtime for your pet if they like to have their own space or need a break from my own animals. When weather takes a turn for the worse, we can spend time indoors. We love to play "hide and seek" with toys and/or treats to help burn some energy.

I have taken care of dogs and cats of all kinds ever since I was a child. I have always had a passion for animals and have never lived in a home without them. Friends, families, neighbours, and colleagues have relied on me to walk, feed, bathe, and brush their furry loved ones. I have two dogs (Buddo and Eevee) who are trained off leash and on leash; they are incredibly friendly and love to play with other dogs.

Brook has been a godsend to our family. She has willingly helped me with my American Akita, Luka. This breed can be tricky to handle as they want to command the lead. Brook was able to train her well on the leash and in turn made it easier for us to walk her. She walks Luka on a regular basis for us. I trust Brook with Luka and would gladly recommend her services to anyone needing their doggies walked.
