I like to know each dog’s routine, personality, and any specific needs so I can make their stay as comfortable as possible. Details like feeding schedule, exercise needs, and daily routines help me keep things consistent and familiar for them. It’s also important for me to understand their temperament (how they do in new environments, being left alone, or meeting new people) as well as any training cues or behaviours to be aware of. I also appreciate knowing about any medical needs, allergies, or medications, along with anything that helps them feel more at home (like favorite toys or sleeping habits). My goal is to keep their stay calm, comfortable, and as stress-free as possible.

A typical day is centered around making sure each dog gets the attention, exercise, and care they need. I plan my day around their routine, including walks, feeding, and plenty of time for play and interaction. I’m used to high-energy dogs, so I’m happy to provide longer walks and active play when needed, while also making sure more relaxed dogs have a calm, comfortable pace. At home, there’s always time for attention, play, and just hanging out so they feel settled and at ease. On weekends, when I’m home full-time, we can spend more time outside and enjoy a relaxed, cozy day together.
