Pet care is a meaningful and regular part of my weekly routine. I dedicate time each day for walks, feedings, litter box cleaning, and quality time with the animals I care for. I carefully plan my schedule to ensure I’m fully available for each pet — whether for daily check-ins, overnight stays, or weekend visits. Even with other responsibilities, pet care remains a top priority.

A typical day
For dogs, fun activities include playing fetch and going on walks or hikes to keep them physically active and mentally engaged. Setting up simple obstacle courses or trying agility games at home can be a great way to challenge them. Puzzle toys or snuffle mats are excellent for stimulating their brains, and of course, nothing beats quality time with cuddles and belly rubs to strengthen the bond. For cats, interactive play with laser pointers or feather wands provides great exercise and entertainment. They also enjoy watching birds from a cozy window perch, which keeps them mentally stimulated. Engaging their curiosity with treat puzzles, cardboard boxes, or paper bags is always a hit. And after all the excitement, quiet moments with chin scratches and naps make for a perfect day.

This is the first time I left my cats with anyone other than family. I didn’t need to worry. Brontë sent me photos and updated me after each visit. The cats obviously loved her as they came out from under the bed for cuddles. Could not recommend Brontë more and will definitely be using her again in the future.
Brontë looked after both my cats again and I was just as happy as the first time. They are so well cared for at her flat, you can see how much she loves animals. She makes sure to provide updates and photos whilst they’re with her. I literally could not ask for a better person to look after Houdini and Wotsit, thank you!
