Hi! My name is Ace (they/them). I’ve been a full-time Rover sitter for over 4 years, with more than 115 pet-sitting experiences—and I truly love what I do. You can count on me to provide nurturing, reliable care for your fur family. I’ve grown up with animals my entire life, from rabbits to rescued stray cats, and I’ve always been the go-to pet sitter for neighbors and family—especially for my grandma’s sweet boy, Dash. I also worked at Lucky & Lady, a doggy daycare and boarding facility, where I gained hands-on experience and strengthened my skills in professional pet care. During the holidays, I especially enjoy supporting pet parents by caring for their fur babies and sharing daily updates to give you peace of mind while you’re away. Ace was absolutely amazing with our cats! We were pretty anxious about leaving them—especially since we have an older cat and a newer, younger one we weren’t sure would do well together—but she put our minds completely at ease. She took such great care of them and kept us updated with pictures while we were away, which meant so much to us. It was such a relief to come home and see that both cats were happy and doing well (and even getting along!). You can really tell she cares, and we’re so grateful for the love and attention she gave them. We would 100% trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring cat sitter!

My experience with Ace was excellent from beginning to end. I reached out after my regular sitter had to cancel relatively last minute. Ace immediately took a collaborative approach to figure out a way for us to work together. Their consistent and clear communication really shined here. Ace prioritized my anxious dog’s comfort and ensured we could have a meet and greet and that their was clear understanding of my dog’s needs. They sent photos and updates of her wellbeing daily. On a personal level, Ace’s love and care for animals was clear from our first texts, but undeniable during our meet and greet. Under the circumstances of scrambling last minute to find a sitter and having an anxious pet, working with Ace was such a welcomed relief and blessing. I knew my dog would be in good hands. Ace was a joy to work with and based on how happy and relaxed she was when I returned, I think my dog would agree. I would not hesitate to book with Ace again.
Ace was absolutely amazing with my 3 dogs. When I came home everything was as clean as it could be and I know my dogs must have had a great time because they ran past me out from their room to go look around the house to find Ace. Would definitely recommend anyone to book. Also was super patient and responsive when I was trying to book. Will definitely be a return customer. This was a last minute booking I did to leave for Xmas. I would have not been able to go home to IA if it weren't for Ace letting me book last minute.

Schedule
I am a full time Rover pet sitter so I have plenty of free time to dedicate and play with your beloved pups! I am available for boarding, house sitting, drop in visits and doggy day care 24/7, weekends and weekdays.

I live in a two story home where your pets will have plenty of room to play, explore and relax. Along with an unfenced backyard where they can walk/run around under close supervision. Toys will also be provided to keep your pups entertained!
A typical day
A typical day is filled with fun and enrichment! We might explore the dog park near my home so your pup can safely interact with other dogs, get their zoomies out in the backyard (with your approval), enjoy a good game of tug-of-war, and take relaxed walks around my pedestrian-friendly subdivision. I tailor each day to your pet’s energy level and personality to make sure they feel happy, engaged, and cared for.
