I currently work at my shelter job on Thursday and Fridays. I am a stay at home mom who has a little more flexibility to do two to three drop in visits during the day. The days I work I would only be able to drop in twice a day.

When I visit clients pets: ●I will make sure their water dishes are full ●Feed or refill automatic feeders ●Let the dogs outside to be able to stretch and use the bathroom ●Clean litter boxes daily or every other day depending on amount of cats ●Spend time with the animals, from playing to cuddling of animal allows. ●Give medications if needed ●Make sure I count for each animal before I leave.

How I learned to be the best sitter
Pet care experience
I have worked at an animal shelter for the last 3 years. I have learned the best ways to administer medications to both dogs and cats. I also know how to handle to ones who are harder to give medications. I have worked with many types of dogs. I have learned how to properly tell if a dog is comfortable or nervous. I have worked with many puppies. I am very good with cats. I have 3 of my own. I have worked with many shy cats and know to take my time and to be patience. I am currently work on fear free course for my shelter job but hope to bring that to my sitter jobs. To help make a dog or cat comfortable. I also am familiar with rabbits and guinea pigs. I am also willing to work with any other type of animals that you need caring for.
