My name is Brittney, and I have 8 years of experience as a veterinary assistant in routine and emergency care. I left the veterinary field to pursue other interests, but I missed working with animals so much I began doing pet care on the side. I enjoy taking care of all kinds of pets, and each pet I care for has a special paw print on my heart. Brittney is amazing. We were very very hesitant to use Rover after an extremely horrible experience with a different sitter. We met with Brittney and she made us feel comfortable right away. The boys loved her. She also stayed in constant communication with us throughout the week. We definitely plan on using her again in the future. Highly recommend using Brittney!

Brittney was great with my three dogs. She built an instant connection with them including one this is usually slow to warm up to new people. She completely understood the special instructions and care required for my diabetic dog and I felt very comfortable with her taking care of them.
Brittney was amazing! She took care of my dog Sapphire, who loves human attention. She sent me pics with updates throughout the day and offered my poor pup a bed because I forgot to pack her one. ? Brittney has pets so it was comforting knowing Sapphire had friends for a few days. ?

I work part-time currently so that I can continue to spend time working with animals! I recently moved to VA and have only recently started pet sitting again so I have time on my schedule!

I am experienced in giving all different types of diets and medications as well as walking/sitting all different sizes and breeds of dogs/cats. I also know cats and dogs can take some time to warm up to new people in their environment so I take care to go at your pets pace 😊

A typical day
I love playing with toys and enrichment treats with the dogs I watch and laser toys or streamer wands to entertain the cats. Or if your pets love language is lots of pets and lounging, I respect that and ensure they get lots of attention!
