It is important that your dog be friendly with other dogs. I typically book multiple families at a time so your dog will likely be around dogs they don't know. Meal times are always done with dogs in different rooms to make sure food isn't an issue and we have sectioned off areas of the house if God forbid, there was an issue or if your pup just needs to be separated to rest. If you're booking a walk, it's important that your dog walks well on a leash without pulling. I (Brittney) perform the walks and have shoulder issues that would be exacerbated by excessive pulling.
A typical day
When staying with my family, your family member will enjoy romps in our back yard, daily walks around the neighborhood (if desired), play time, and lots of snuggles. Not to mention the space and time to nap all they want.

Brittney is a stay at home mom and dogsitters. Our daughter was born in February of 2020 and is great with dogs, she thinks she is one of the pack as she has been raised with dogs. One huge benefit of booking with us is that someone is almost always home so your pup (all dogs are pups no matter the age) will be lavished with attention. We live in a house in a quiet neighborhood and have a decent sized fenced in yard that includes a dog run. We have a doggie door that is open during the day while we are in the main area of the house. We do watch several dogs at a time and so it can be a zoo here sometimes. Pets are family and we would love to watch your family for you while you travel or work. They will be treated like one of our own.
