Pet care experience

I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, big and small. I currently have a very sweet senior Boxer and recently had to say goodbye to my sweet pitbull. I am very used to giving medications and dealing with pet anxiety.

Ratings and reviews
Brittin took such good care of my anxious dog! She made sure Ginger got lots of outside time and snuggles. I'm surprised she wanted to go home with us!

Brittin was absolutely fantastic all around. My dog is a $25,000 medical alert, Dog, so I am extremely OCD about who I leave her with. I never go without my service dog, but I wanted to go into the LDS temple where Service dogs are not allowed and thankfully she was within less than 2 miles roughly of the temple in Provo so I didn’t have to compromise myself medically too much to be able to have my dog watched and attend the temple She made sure my dog had an awesome pool to play in while it’s hot and being a labrador my dog loves water like it’s air. Her dog was very kind and loving to mine. I didn’t have any real worries about her dog being aggressive to my service dog She sent me photos every couple of hours which helps me be at ease. She’s very friendly. She listens well. She does what you ask and she made sure my dog was comfortable having toys and everything she needed after playing outside. When I am in Utah and I wanna go to the temple again, I plan on having this lady watch my Service dog again

Lots of communication as well as pictures. My dog seemed to have a good time! No complaints!

Excellent! I recommend it.

To Whom It May Concern, I am pleased to recommend Brittin as a responsible and compassionate pet sitter. She is a deeply dedicated pet owner who has consistently demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the care and well-being of her animals. Whether it was her current dog or her late pet, Brittin has always prioritized their needs—adjusting her schedule, staying up at odd hours, and ensuring they were healthy, safe, and happy. Brittin brings a wealth of hands-on experience, particularly with dogs. She is confident, knowledgeable, and calm under pressure—qualities that make her capable of handling any situation that may arise. Her late dog required specialized medical and emotional attention, and she managed those challenges with remarkable care and sensitivity. Brittin has the flexibility to provide pets with plenty of attention throughout the day. Whether it's walks, playtime, or mealtime, she ensures that every part of their routine is handled with love and consistency. Any pet in Brittin’s care will be in excellent hands.
Calendar and availability
Schedule
I work from home and usually sit on my patio in the backyard while my dog runs around and plays or naps. I keep a very regular schedule.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced backyard with a dog door that fits a large dog. I keep a small kiddie pool filled in the backyard during summer. I work from home so I’m always around and spend most of my time in the backyard. I am trained as an EMT (for humans but a lot transfers over to animals) so I understand first aid and have dealt with first aid emergencies in dogs before. I am also used to administering medications to animals from previous pets I’ve owned. For doggies that have a hard time with stairs, I have a couple sets of stairs in my house but we can stay on the bottom floor where the dog door to the backyard is.
Pets
A typical day
