Please Note: I can only accept crate trained dogs for boarding requests! Dogs are crated when being fed and overnight for their safety! I have owned dogs all of my life and been always been in charge of training the family pets. As I got older I began to get into dog performance events and more training. I have worked professionally in a boarding kennel and daycare setting for over four years. I also show and compete in performance events such as herding to agility and rally with my three personal dogs.

Fantastic as always! Brittany is one of the few people my dog consistently enjoys seeing on drop-in visits and walks.
Brittany and her family were wonderful with our dog during a 5-night stay. She kept us updated with pictures, and it was clear our pup was happy and well cared for. We’d definitely recommend her to others and plan to book with her again in the future!

Updated review: Brittany continues to be amazing! She is very conscientious and patient with Ella. She gives plenty of advanced notice if her schedule changes (which is rarely). Ella adores Brittany and, I think, looks for her when I am walking her. I highly recommend Brittany!

Schedule
I am out of the house no more than six hours a day, and my husband works from home so pets are never alone. Overnight, pets are kept safely in their crates to avoid any potential scuffles or misadventures. Bedtime lasts between six and eight hours most nights, but during the day your pets are allowed plenty of freedom in the house and in the fenced in yard. For walks, I am available starting at 2:00 PM most days, with very limited morning availability between 5-6AM.

Safety, trust & environment
All pets are cared for with respect and understanding. I have studied canine behavior for over four years, and I understand how to read their body language and how to respond to them. I am happy to work on basic manners while your pet is with me, whether it be on our walks or during their stay with me. I find great enjoyment in providing enrichment activities to keep their minds and bodies active. There are two respectful children in the home who have been raised around dogs and do not pester them. There is also a cat and large dogs in the household. I am happy to crate and rotate dogs if that is what you would prefer for your pet, but it is important to note that this is an energetic household during daylight hours.
Pets
A typical day
We have a medium-sized fenced in yard with pet-safe play equipment and toys. We also have a large unfenced area where I like to work on training dogs or doing leashed walks. We have a variety of dog treat puzzles from Kongs to more interactive puzzles that require your pet to really use their minds for thos that require more mental stimulation such as herding and terrier breeds.
