A typical day
Moving out to a flat away from home for the first time, I really enjoy going for long walks. Recently moving into the area, I have taken to seeking out the more rural walking routes, and particularly love walking along the river/canal. I enjoy taking my dogs on walks when home, but we are limited to walk Hudson so far due to his operations on his back legs. I have had big dogs so can handle a dog well on the lead even when they pull. My old (heavenly) good boy enjoyed playing fetch. We would enjoy finding rural areas to throw and fetch balls and sticks. I still dog sit for them at home for long durations of times throughout the year, and will adapt my schedules to meet the ones set with them and my parents. With this in mind I will do the same for your good boys and girls. I will adapt my schedules to meet your angel’s routine (getting up and feeding whenever you would) if possible. I will take into account your pets needs with walks and follow the instructions you give me to ensure your dogs are looked after and happy.

Pet care experience
As a Phd student living in a 2 bed flat, I have felt the absence of coming home to a pet. However, while studying/working, and living in a 2 bed flat (which is spacious with a lot of walking/park opportunities here in stratford-upon-avon), I acknowledge I am not in a position to have a pup of my own full time. Although my time can be limited during term times, I am available during the busier time periods of the school holidays- I have set times in my calendar, however on days of annual leave and quieter days in the clinic this can be changed (flexible) and a discussion can be had. With that being said, having moved out on my own, it has made me miss my boy at home - a Newfie Harvey (and my two heavenly good boys too). So, if there ever was an opportunity to spend time with other good boys and girls (dogs and cats) and ensure they are getting exercise and having fun trips out, I am the person for the job. I understand how busy life can be, and juggling your work life, social life and personal down time can be hard enough without adding the additional needs of a dog. Therefore, I would love to help someone ensure their floof is having fun while freeing up some of their time too. I’ve had dogs my whole life (3x newfoundlands - 2 of which I have sadly had to leave behind at the family home, an Old English Mastiff and a Rottweiler). I am very adapted to big dogs having grown up with them, but am good with dogs of all size. Although I’m not a dog trainer, I am a dog lover and would love to be a part of giving these good girls and boys a life of love, fun and excitement - seeing as their time on this earth is so sadly limited. Additionally, I have had plenty experiences with cats also, living with cats whenever visiting my dad and helping friends out and previous Rover users, while they go away. I have been part of Rover for over 3.5 ish years, however, had to take some time off due to other commitments, with that being said, I am available again and am keen to help others with the furry babies. Additionally, I ensure to get back to you as soon as possible.

Reviews

Brittany is lovely with our very shy cat. She sends helpful messages and great photos. We will continue to use her whenever we are away. Thank you Brittany!

Brittany was brilliant with Harley, he really enjoyed his walk with her. Brittany was friendly and easy to communicate with, very responsive to messages.

Brittany was wonderful at looking after our three male cats. During every visit we received updates and photos of each individual cat, along with group photos and proof of them eating. I felt assured that the boys were in good hands during our holiday and we’ve found our new local cat sitter :) would defo recommend and use again. Thanks Brittany

Brittany was great. I really appreciated her photos and update of our cat. We will be booking with her again in future!
