We have over a decade of hands on experience caring for dogs at all stages of life, from energetic pups to seniors who need a little extra care and attention. We’re comfortable caring for senior dogs with arthritis or mobility challenges, including administering medications, helping with lifting when needed, and recognizing when a dog needs to slow down, rest, or have a quieter day. At the same time, we understand that every dog has different needs. Having raised an Australian Shepherd, we know firsthand how much exercise, stimulation, structure, and engagement high energy dogs require. We love getting outside for walks, playtime, and adventures, while making sure each dog’s individual energy level and comfort are respected. Our goal is to make every dog feel safe, loved, and right at home while in our care. We are genuine dog lovers and treat every dog like they are our family.

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into our lifestyle! I work part-time shift work, while my partner works a regular monday to friday job, so we have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give dogs the attention and care they need. We love having dogs around and are happy to include them in our daily routine with walks, playtime, outdoor time, and plenty of cuddles. We’re especially interested in longer stays when our schedules allow, as well as weekend stays and boarding during our time off. We’re happy to work with each dog’s individual routine and make their stay feel as much like home as possible!

Our home is a safe, comfortable, and dog-friendly environment where your pup can feel right at home. We have a large, fully fenced yard for supervised outdoor time and a dog proofed home where dogs can relax and settle into their own routine. We take the time to learn each dog’s personality, routine, energy level, feeding schedule, and any special needs before their stay. We provide plenty of supervision, exercise, playtime, and attention, while also recognizing when a dog needs some quiet time or a rest. Your dog will be treated as part of the family while they’re with us....with lots of love, patience, cuddles, and care. Our priority is making sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for throughout their stay.

A typical day
We love dogs and basically revolve our weekends and free time around them! Your dog will get loads of love and attention, as well as walks and exercise that suit your pets needs. We love going to the river and going on scenic walks in the area. We like to rollerblade and bike ride and just be outside as much as possible when weather allows!

- Let us know if your dog has any personality quirks, likes or doesnt like certain things, dietary restrictions or if they have any special needs (medication, mobility issues etc). We both have extensive experience in caring for senior dogs and dealing with arthritis, watching for signs of fatigue or soreness and administering medications. We know how a simple jump out of the car can cause pain for older doggos and we always air on the side of caution with our senior dog at home! (He basically gets prince treatment these days and waits for his carry up the stairs to bed even though he doesnt need it haha)
