Pet care fits into my daily/weekly routine because outdoor exercise is very important to me. I love being able to take dogs for a walk/jog or hike in the morning and/or the evenings. Four days a week I will be out of the house for 8 hours when I have work. If your pet is okay being home alone for that timing, please reach out and we can chat further about schedules so you have a better understanding.

When I stay in other peoples homes Its important for me to learn what the boundaries and routines are for the pet so that way I can maintain the work the owner has done to establish the respecting relationship with the dog/cat/other pet. Cleanliness is also important to me in my home and my clients. It is important to me to respect your space and pickup after myself and help out so you don’t have more chores to do when returning home. I am quiet and enjoy me time with the pets. You will find me generally playing with the animals, taking an online learning of some sort, going for walks, meditating, listening to an audible, cooking, or creating a craft is what I like to do in my free time. I am very teachable, flexible, and communicative.

Please let me know ahead of time if your dog/cat has any special needs or behaviors I should be aware of that I can account for. Are you training your dog in any way I can maintain consistency? Does your dog have social anxiety when you are not present? Etc. How long can your dog stay inside before needing to be let out to pee. I am in school and that will be a factor for my long days.
A typical day
I love to stay active with pets to get them moving and out doors! I love exploring the area and adventuring on new hikes or just a nice beach walk.

Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs and cats the majority of my life growing up. Since living in Alaska I have been the go to house and pet sitter for friends and family. I have also spent 5 months caring for and assisting dog sled teams maintaining dog kennel and race teams. I love quality time with fur friends who need an attentive, fun and relaxed caretaker. I’m always happy to drop in and play and check on all of the pets as needed. ☺️ I am very attentive to ensuring the pets have an opportunity to use the bathroom right before I leave for work and as soon as I return home. I always make a point to go for a walk/jog everyday and a longer hike on my days off. Walks and visits are highlights of my days! :)

Brittany took great care of my "little" golden retriever.They had many great adventures. Brittany communicates well and make sure that she understands the needs of the dog and what her work schedule is.The hose was well maintained and neat when I returned. I will book her again if she is available.
