Excuse the cheesy headline! I am a clinical psychologist at Hartford Hospital and absolutely love dogs of all shapes and sizes. I have had dogs with my family my entire life (mostly Rottweilers), and now my boyfriend and I have three dogs of our own who run our lives. I have experience pet sitting both dogs and cats and most importantly, I have a huge heart for all animals. I understand how important pets are to families-they are more than just animals; they are actual family members. I will give your pets all the love, attention and care they deserve and will ensure that they have the best experience possible. Knowing first hand the struggles of wanting someone to love and play with my dog when I am not home, I want to make sure that people can feel comfortable and rest easy knowing that their pets are in my care.

I always talk with owners about safety precautions before a visit. I like to meet the owner and their pet beforehand to ensure a good fit and to address any concerns. P

Brittany was wonderful for two drop in visits while I had surgery. She clocked in/out, took some photos of Gracie, and left a short message each time. Recommended.
Brittany took care of my 4 cats for a week, visiting twice daily. One cat is a senior and required transdermal medicine twice daily and alot of extra TLC due to various health issues. She handled it like a champ, sending photos after every visit. She was extra communicative when another cat slipped outside, and, with lots of persistence was able to get him back inside. She even tried a have-a-heart trap she owns. Next time I need her services, I will book her for 1 hour visits instead of 1/2 hour because I don't think there was enough time for her to clean up the mess they made with litter scattering and food bits on the floor around their dishes. This is the only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. I liked using Rover because of the accountability, alerting me each time she visited.
This was our first time using Rover, where we found Brittany. Brittany is local to us and we found her to very reliable. Our cat is normally very skittish but took to Brittany right away! Thank you very much! We look forward to our next trip, knowing that Emmy will be in good hands.

My cat Watson is a shy kitty and her first instinct to strangers is always hiding. Brittany was very patient with her and got Watson to warm up to her : ) Brittany is awesome and I very much appreciated her! Will definitely book her again next time when I'm out of town.
Brittany was so flexible with scheduling! She took good care of my kitty who is generally very skittish around new people.

Schedule
I work a full time job, so week day visits can generally only be mornings and evenings. My weekends are open and I am happy to come by any time!
