Where Pets Are Treated Like Family
I have hands‑on experience caring for dogs around the clock, including raising a litter of Bulldogs from birth. During an intense four‑week period, I provided constant nursing, cleaning, monitoring, and care, and all seven puppies thrived. That experience shaped my patient, attentive approach to pet sitting. I treat every pet like my own and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away.

Ratings and reviews
We wish we could leave more than 5 stars! Brittany fulfilled a last-minute, long-term house/dog sitting job for us (28 days!) while we were traveling out of the country and she did such an amazing job. Brittany is a caretaker and dog lover at heart and we were so comfortable to have her stay in our home with our two dogs (a brown lab and a border collie). When we got home our pups were happy and healthy (and probably a little disappointed it wasn’t her coming in the door haha), and our home was immaculately clean. Brittany was very communicative while we were away and took care of everything we asked of her. She clearly loved on our dogs while we were gone and we couldn’t be more pleased with the level of care she took of both the dogs and the house. We know exactly who to call the next time we need a sitter!

I’m a professional hairdresser, and both my husband and I work from home, which allows us to be present and attentive to the pets in our care throughout the day. We’ve lived in our home for 16 years, providing a stable, calm environment, and we’ve always had animals as part of our family. Our household currently includes three Bulldogs and one Chihuahua, so I’m very experienced with both large, strong breeds and small dogs. We have a fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor time, and our 3,500‑square‑foot home offers plenty of space for pets to relax and move comfortably. We also have multiple crates and gates available, allowing us to safely separate animals when needed and accommodate different personalities, energy levels, and feeding routines. We have a 16‑year‑old daughter who attends Catawba Ridge High School and plays volleyball. She has grown up around animals and understands how to interact with them respectfully and safely. Pets in our home are treated like family, with structure, supervision, and lots of affection. I take pride in providing a secure, loving, and well‑organized environment where pets feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while their owners are away. My goal is always to offer dependable care and peace of mind, knowing that each pet’s needs are met with patience and attention.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I provide attentive, personalized care whether pets are staying in my home or in their owner’s home. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, preferences, and needs so they feel comfortable and secure from the start. Feeding schedules, exercise, medications, and any special instructions are always followed closely. In my home, pets are cared for in a safe, structured environment with constant supervision, as both my husband and I work from home. I maintain a clean, calm space and use crates or gates when needed to ensure everyone’s safety and comfort. Pets receive regular potty breaks, playtime, exercise, and plenty of affection, along with quiet time to relax. My fenced backyard allows for safe outdoor activity, and I carefully manage introductions with my own dogs based on temperament and compatibility. When caring for pets in their owner’s home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine to reduce stress. I provide overnight stays or daily care as requested, including feeding, walks, playtime, medication administration, and companionship. I also make sure the home is respected and cared for by bringing in mail, adjusting lights, and keeping everything tidy. I communicate regularly with updates and photos so owners feel confident and informed while they’re away. No matter the location, I treat every pet as if they were my own, with patience, consistency, and genuine care, always prioritizing their safety, comfort, and well‑being.

A typical day
A typical day with me is centered around consistent care, quality time, and building a strong bond with each pet. Daily interaction is a must for me, and I make sure every pet receives plenty of one‑on‑one attention throughout the day. Mornings usually start with potty breaks, feeding, and some fresh air, followed by calm time or light play depending on each pet’s energy level. Throughout the day, activities can include walks, fetching, outdoor time in the yard, interactive play, and lots of snuggling. I tailor each activity to your pet’s personality, age, and needs, making sure they feel comfortable and engaged without being overstimulated. Because I work from home, pets are never left alone for long periods and are supervised throughout the day. Evenings are focused on winding down with relaxed play, cuddles, and maintaining bedtime routines. Whether your pet prefers active play or quiet companionship, I make sure they feel safe, loved, and part of the family from morning to night.

- Before care begins, I like to gather important details to ensure your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are fully respected. Clear communication ahead of time allows me to provide consistent, stress‑free care and be prepared for any situation. I ask that owners share all home rules and specific instructions regarding their pet’s care, including feeding schedules, potty routines, exercise needs, and any training guidelines. Information about your pet’s health, medications, allergies, and overall temperament is essential, along with instructions for kennel or crate use and cleaning routines if applicable. I also request a plan for unexpected situations, including emergency contact information and your preferred veterinary hospital. Daily communication is a priority for me, and I will provide regular updates so you always know how your pet is doing. Having these details in advance helps me care for your pet confidently and treat them as if they were my own
