I'm working part time over the summer and looking to have pets to care for in my spare time. My availability is pretty open with the exception of 9am to 12pm Monday through Thursday in July.

I would love to play with your pets, bring them for walks, provide food, water, love and attention. I genuinely care for all animals and would love to get to spend time with your pet.

Please let me know if your dog has any habits that may make walking or visiting more difficult. Please let me know if your dog frequently rushes the door or has gotten out while trying to enter. I have a lot of experience with dogs that pull on leash including dogs up to 110lbs, just let me know what tools you use to mitigate it including front clip harness, long leads and treats. I'm not comfortable using prong or shock collars. If your area frequently has loose dogs or any aversion to places nearby please let me know where to avoid. Although I generally avoid on leash interactions with other dogs, please let me know if your dog has reacted poorly to other dogs or been attacked on leash, to better avoid negative interactions. A lot of pets enjoy physical affection, if your pet has any spots to avoid or a favorite spot to pet please let me know.

I enjoy spending time with dogs if all activity levels. If your dog enjoys walking, we will spend a few minutes getting (re)acquainted and acclimated to the leash together before embarking on a walk with focus on going to the bathroom and getting energy out then on exploring together. As long as your dog enjoys physical touch I'll end the service with a thorough pet and pat down for a physical check for ticks (as tolerated) and to provide physical affection after our time outside. If your dog enjoys playing with toys I'll incorporate it either into our outdoor time or after coming back inside. At the end of the service I will change water (minimum 1 time per day) and refill with fresh water. If requested I will also put down fresh food including cleaning the food bowl.

I've taken care of dogs and cats for friends, neighbors and family members since I was 10. I have potty trained and taught basic commands to my dogs, fed and cared for cats, guinea pigs and ball pythons. Pets are part of the family and should get high quality care regardless of their owners scheduling requirements.
