A Home Away from Home for Your Beloved Pet Animals have always been at the center of my life. I’m the kind of person you’ll see pulled over on the side of the road, coaxing a frightened or injured animal to safety. Caring for animals isn't just something I do—it's who I am. When one of my dogs developed severe arthritis and could no longer enjoy walks, I repurposed a wagon and some old downhill skis into a sled so she could still take in the fresh air and sights of winter. That’s the kind of care and creativity I bring to every animal in my life. Your pet will be treated like family here. Whether they’re most comfortable relaxing in a private room or hanging out with the rest of us in the house, we make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. If your pet prefers some solo R&R, we absolutely respect that too. For peace of mind, I use a pet camera so I can keep an eye on things throughout the day—and I’m happy to share photos and updates with you during their stay. With hands-on experience in animal shelters, rescues, and private training facilities, I’m confident working with dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. My background has also given me extensive knowledge of animal health, medications, and disease management. If your pet requires medication or has special health needs, you can trust that they’re in capable hands.
