I am currently going back to school for speech-language pathology. I will have a more open schedule over breaks, but during the school year I still have manageable amounts of breaks in the day to give adequate breaks to any animal.

I would only be able to take care of the animal at the client’s home due to me being in an apartment with cats. However, I am comfortable with whatever restrictions/rules people have in their house since I understand it can be nerve wracking to have an unfamiliar person in their home.

A typical day
When I’m watching a dog I would be playing with them and getting them out of the house if allowed by the owners. We would play games and get all their energy out! If I was watching a cat that liked to play I would be using whatever toys are their favorites.

I have had a family dog through childhood. My roommate and I saved a kitten off the road last year and I helped my parents take care of their new puppy the last few years. I work as a part time tutor at the moment so my schedule can vary. If I am scheduled for a full day it would be an 8 hour work day. However, sometimes it is less than the typically work day. Also, I was previously a teacher so my ability to have patience and following guiding instructions for your animal is top tier.

Brittany was absolutely phenomenal taking care of our dog Winnie. This was our first time using Rover and it made the whole process seamless knowing Winnie was in such good hands! She was a respectful guest in our home and our girl clearly had a blast. Brittany sent daily updates with pictures and videos so we always knew Winnie was in good hands. We can’t recommend her enough!
Brittany was very trustworthy and prompt. She communicated well. Greta felt at ease and Brittany let me know how Greta was doing including photos. Nice she is flexible in the summer. Would definitely use again.
