I am a part time stay at home mom and a part time doggy daycare operator! My life revolves around caring for kids and animals (shhh don’t tell my kids but I enjoy the animal part best!). Pet care is my life! My schedule is flexible other than Tuesday and Thursday when I have a yard full of dogs! We have 100 acres of wooded trails that I take the dogs for walks (leashed or offleash) on and a fully fenced backyard for potty breaks and playtime when the weather is fine! Weekends are more busy with my children than during the week. Some dates may be unavailable if we are away, if I confirm that I am available to care for your dog it means I will be home (or close to home) while your dog is in my care. Other than Tuesdays and Thursdays my daily routine varies, we can have a conversation about how my days will look when your dog is in my care.

Safety, trust & environment

Safety is my main priority when dogs are in my care. I have recently re-certified my canine first aid training in April 2026. After 14 years of dog care and caring for my own animals, I try to manage the animals in my care in the safest way possible (without putting them in bubble wrap)! I believe that it is importang for our canine friends to have freedom and fun but I have processes and rules in place to try and keep everyone safe AND happy! My fenced yard has two double gated entires, dogs are always on a leash unless they have spent a significant time with me and are showing me that they have a reliable recall. When dogs are unattended in my home or the daycare building they are always crated (separated) and crated at night. Dogs who show any human or dog aggression will not be permitted to stay with me.

Information Brittany K. would like to know about your pet

Please provide me with a brief description of your dog! I do require one meet and greet prior to committing to board your dog! All dogs who stay with me must be reliably crate trained - this means they are comfortable and quiet when in their crate. Preference will be given to dogs who are able to socialize with my own dogs and daycare dogs (Tuesday and Thursday). I do require that all dogs who stay with me have had their core puppy vaccinations and I highly recommend some kind of flea/tick/internal parasite prevention is being used on a regular basis. Any dog who is found to have fleas or internal parasites will not be able to complete their stay and will need to be retrieved as soon as possible. Any dog who shows signs of human or dog aggression will be unable to attend daycare or board here.

A typical day

The dogs and I spend most of our day in the fenced yard. I occasionally take my dogs and boarding/daycare dogs for walks on our wooded paths. Playing with other dogs and in nature is the main forms of activity for dogs who stay with me! It is also different for dogs to see people come and go on daycare days, this seems to be interesting for them and almost like entertainment! We also have farm animals the dogs can watch (quietly) from the fenced dog yard (kind of like real life dog TV)!

Pet care experience

I own a small doggy daycare and occasional boarding business. Along with caring for people’s canine companions over the last 14 years, I have trained and trailed multiple dogs in many conformation, sporting and obedience events. We live on a hobby farm with a mixed animals who I also enjoy caring for. I use postive reinforcement methods with all of our animals and believe that a relationship built on trust is the best training tool! I am an animal lover and my passion is Dogs 💕 I look forward to meeting you and your canine family member(s)!

Brittany has looked after my dogs for close to 14 years. She was a “second mother” to my late German Shepherd; he adored going there. And now my Aussie puppy is benefitting from her wonderful care, super facility, and the company of great dogs.I would trust her with any animal of mine, knowing she would care for them as well, and sometimes better, than I do. She goes way above and beyond. During her mat leaves, I had to take my GDS elsewhere and it never felt the same. At Brittany’s, it is like leaving them with family. She truly loves the dogs in her care. She has given me great training advice and practical tips. I cannot say how wonderful this woman is. If you have a chance to take your dog to her daycare, grab it…it will be one of your best decisions ever!

My dog (my baby) is in the best hands with Brittany. I have no stress due to Brittany’s professionalism, care, knowledge, and compassion towards all of the dogs in her care. Brittany provides a happy and safe environment for all dogs at her Daycare!

I've never felt comfortable leaving any of our dogs in the care of another person...until we met Brittany. Brittany made sure she met Maisie separately before we took her to daycare to make sure she would be a good fit with the rest of the pack. This was very reassuring to know she had all the dogs best interest in mind. I feel 100% comfortable leaving Maisie with Brittany for the day or to board with her for a week. She takes such good care of our baby and Maisie is always so excited to go to daycare. Brittany is always in full control of the pack and teaches them "manners" as well. If you want someone who will love and care for your dog like their own, reinforce good behaviour and keep them safe, Brittany is your girl!
