I work from home on a freelance/contract basis so pet care fits perfectly into my weekly routine. My schedule is flexible as a graphic designer and web developer so I will easily be able to fit your pet into my schedule.

Safety and comfort of the dog are my top concerns and I take them very seriously. To address these needs, I go over what your dog is used to when you are home (i.e. set feed times, set walking route, specific leash requirements, schedule, etc.) and what your typical protocols are then adhere to what your dog is used to as strictly as possible. I believe a safe and comfortable dog is a happy dog and it is my job to ensure that through providing as much familiarity as possible.

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or accommodations that need to be seen to. I am willing to work with a diverse range of dogs and needs but I will not work with dogs with a history of aggression issues. This is primarily for the dog's safety but also importantly for my own as this is not an area of expertise for me at this time. I believe all dogs deserve the love and care that best suits their needs and that there is a good match in caregivers for every dog.
A typical day
A typical day that I would spend with your pup is tailored to exactly what they need and want! If your dog loves playing in the yard, I'll make sure we do as much of that as they want. Is your dog a couch potato who just wants snuggles? I can do that too! I am there to make your dog as happy and comfortable as possible while you are away from them.

I am a dedicated, attentive dog mom to my boy, Dobby, who is 10 years old. I adopted him when he was 8 weeks old and spent many hours training him to be the incredible dog he has always been. I have been a dog sitter on an overnight-basis for about 20 years now and have even more experience with care on a daily or drop-in basis for feeding, walking, playing or simply just some love and attention. I believe my love and compassion for not only my own dog but all dogs translates well into the meticulous care I provide. I have a proven track record of forming bonds with dogs of all shapes, sizes and breeds and I look forward to becoming buddies with yours!

Brittany does an excellent job for my two kitties. I have used her service for the third time now, from a few to ca. 10 days of being away. She communicates daily as requested and is always responsive when approached, which for me is a crucial part of this arrangement. House and cats are just as I left when I come back. Can definitely recommend!
My dog loves her!!!!!
Brittany was the best, and I feel so lucky that we found her! Our dog loved his time with her, especially when she played with him in the backyard and took him to the beach. We will definitely be having her back!
Brittany did an amazing job watching my two Shih tzus. They are older and need extra care, and she provided with ease. She gave lots of great updates and the house was in perfect condition when we got back. You can tell she is a true animal lover and very responsible too. Thank you Brittany!
