I was born into the animal industry. I was raised around 6 dogs, 4 cats, and exotic pets--- all with different behavioral issues and energy levels. I've been a wildlife educator for 14 years with a 12 year small business focusing in teaching the public about how to take care of exotic pets. Im back in the Hudson valley for the Environmental season after being home south for the winter. My availability is strictly on weekends for now UNLESS you have space and adequate accommodations for my dog (Mavis) to tag along with. I have experience training dogs in advanced obedience, rally, agility, and search. I have experience working in wildlife hospitals, vet offices, zoos, and large farm operations. I've worked high bite risk dogs when working for Escambia Animal Shelter and believe in giving every dog the patience and attention it deserves. No dog is too small or too big -- personality and size wise, ha. I am a detection dog handler for my company and have been around dogs my whole life. I am YOUR animal girl. I follow YOUR rules. Respect YOUR home. And love YOUR pets as if they were my own. Aka... I'm going to cuddle your babies ferociously and give them all the attention. From puppies to seniors. From cats to snakes. Im versatile and willing to discuss your needs. Need a dog sitter but have a pet parrot, bearded dragon, or ball python? No need to hire a separate sitter --- ill make sure they're all taken care of flawlessly. Random Mentions: -References are always available, don't be afraid to ask. -I can do pick up from a separate location and transport (doggy daycare / family house). Just book as a drop in visit and please specify your needs. Additional gas fee may apply depending on distance. -If you have exotics or livestock needing to be watched -- just mention it in the message what species you have and ill make that accomodation. -I do NOT supply treats due to allergy and sensitivity risks. If you wish for me to do training as I walk with your dog please provide treats or the desired positive reinforcement tool. I'm an open book, please PM with any questions you may have, boarding is based on a case by case basis.

When I take care of your critters their safety is my main concern. What ever rules you have in place to assure this will be obeyed to the full degree. I'm diligent to prevent escape and unintentional ingestion.

Brittany was my puppy's first dog sitter ever. She could not have been a better choice! I was pleased to meet Brittany before she stayed at my house with Teddy (and my daughter's cat Sabastian). Teddy seemed to love her from the start. Brittany was amazing. I was thankful to receive photos and videos and updates while I was away. Brittany was not only great at pet sitting but she went above and beyond to take care of the house as well! Brittany might be one of the most professional and chill petsitter’s I’ve ever had. I used to rely on people I knew or personal recommendations of friends and most of the time they were disasters. Not only was I able to book her last minute, when she was here she respected my space, took great care of my animals, and sent all the daily pics and vids I could dream of. I can’t wait to go out of town again because I know my bbz will be well cared for!

Schedule
I am currently doing Rover full time on weekends! I'll spend as much or as little time as your babies need! They're happiness is my happiness 😊 Truly, I can't believe I'm getting paid to hang out with dogs, this is amazing! Ha. I do have my pup at home Mavis, if your dog is dog friendly we may all play together, otherwise I have a pretty good routine with him and would just need to leave every 8 hours to let him out / walk him quickly. It can be done! I promise, I've been doing this for awhile now, I got it down to a science 😜
