I grew up with all kinds of pets: dogs and cats, but also goats, chickens, guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, geckos… These days, my house is much quieter, but my experiences growing up make me well-equipped to take care of a variety of animals now and comfortable with dogs and cats of varied dispositions. I am currently a happy cat owner, and enjoy taking care of both cats and dogs.

I have experience with dogs and cats that don’t immediately trust new people and make an effort to slowly introduce myself and provide space and calming words to help ensure pets feel safe. I’m comfortable walking dogs that may be aggressive towards other dogs and people, and can comfortably guide dogs to safe spaces to ensure they and others remain safe.

Brittany was wonderful — so patient with me as a helicopter cat mom, and Layla just loves her! I will absolutely be tapping her again and often :)
Brittany made drop-in visits twice a day and was very attentive with my two cats. She even made my shy cat comfortable enough to come out and make friends. She administered topical medicine to my senior cat twice a day for a week and generally handled my cats extremely well. I felt very comfortable and confident with them in her care!
Brittany took great care of our one year old pug, Phoebe! She consistently communicated how Phoebe was doing, and took her on several walks daily. Brittany made sure that Phoebe was entertained by playing with her and safe by keeping a schedule consistent to what Phoebe was used to.
Brittany is extremely thoughtful, detailed-oriented, and a lover of animals. She is incredibly responsive and is the person I call when I need an extra hand. She will go out of her way to make your pets feel cared for and loved.
Brittany is an extremely mature, intelligent and caring person and is meticulous about following directions and doing a job better than expected. She has cared for my pets (which have included a dog, cat, bunny, reptile, and guinea pig at different times) and has always shown great skills at taking care of their different needs. She was reliable, punctual, kind and careful. I would highly recommend her.

Schedule
I am a high school English teacher with the summers off, so I have a very flexible schedule through mid-August; once the school year begins, I am generally around evenings and weekends.
