My husband and I moved back to the area just over an year ago and my schedule recently has been flexible enough to start offer overnight house sitting services in addition to check ins and long walks since settling in.

In addition to caring for animals like they’re my own children, I'm also an overly cautious person in general and do my best to leave things the same way I found them. Safety for everyone is my top priority, we keep all animals separated during feeding times and cats always stay in an separate area in our home that has direct access to the screened in "catio" where they can relax in the sun and play outside without being seen or anywhere near any other animals :-)

Allergies, temperament and any other important information that you can share with me before the booking is extremely helpful. This information will more than likely not discourage me from accepting a booking but it does help me prepare for the service.
A typical day
When I watch pets, I focus on keeping them happy, active, and comfortable. For dogs, I love taking them on walks tailored to their energy level, playing fetch, or exploring their favorite toys in the backyard. If they enjoy learning, I’ll practice simple commands or tricks with plenty of positive reinforcement. For cats, I’ll engage them with interactive toys, laser pointers, or a fun game of chase with string. I also ensure plenty of cuddle time and quiet companionship for pets that prefer relaxation over play. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality, making sure our activities match what they enjoy most. Whether it’s tossing a ball, snuggling on the couch, or just hanging out in their favorite spots, my goal is to make them feel loved and entertained while their owners are away.

Pet care experience
Please note: we are no longer accepting poodles, poodle mixes or chocolate labs unless a daycare is scheduled prior to their stay. We unfortunately have seen a very large increase in digestive issues with these breeds and cannot accept pups that will not eat for us while they’re here. Thank you for your understanding!! I am a huge lover of animals and have more than 10 years of hands on experience with dogs and cats of all kinds :-)

This was our first time using Brittany and found her on Rover. Brittany was so amazing taking care of my senior dog and my active golden doodle. We went on a 10 day trip and Central Florida got hit with horrible storms. She was able to help comfort them and kept me informed. We’ll always use Brittany. Brittany is absolutely amazing! She recently watched Lulu at her place for three weeks, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From our initial meet-and-greet, we instantly felt a wonderful, trustworthy vibe from her, and she is incredibly nice and friendly. Throughout the entire stay, Brittany kept us constantly updated with photos and videos, which gave us total peace of mind. She even went above and beyond by giving Lulu a bath, which was such a thoughtful and appreciated touch! It’s clear she truly cares for the pets she watches. We will absolutely be boarding Lulu with Brittany again in the future and highly recommend her to anyone on Rover! A++++
