Animals have been a huge part of my day-to-day for as long as I can remember. I’m a lifelong animal lover (and admittedly a bit of a compulsive animal rescuer!) who has raised, rescued, and cared for many animals over the years. Today, I’m the proud owner of two cats, Midge and Maisel, and a dog, Baloo, of my own. My experience goes beyond everyday pet care. I’ve cared for animals during recovery, pets with special circumstances and additional needs, senior animals requiring extra patience and attention, and dogs with behavioral challenges. I understand that every animal has their own personality, comfort level, and routine, and I’m comfortable adjusting my approach to what helps them feel safe and cared for. While dogs and cats are the animals I work with most, my experience is pretty diverse! Over the years I’ve also cared for birds, fish, sugar gliders, snakes, and a handful of rescued wildlife—including raccoons, squirrels, a deer, and even an opossum. Above all, I treat the animals in my care like I would want someone to treat my own—with patience, affection, attentiveness, and respect for their individual needs. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care, and I take that responsibility seriously.
