⚠️ **IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING** ⚠️ As a Certified Veterinary Assistant (AVA) with 5+ years of veterinary medicine experience, safety is always my top priority. I am currently a stay-at-home mom, which means my 6-month-old daughter joins me for standard daytime bookings unless my husband is off work. To ensure a safe environment for everyone, please note my strict policies: *100% Kid & Baby Friendly: Your pets *MUST* be fully comfortable and relaxed around infants. *Strict Visual Boundaries: While I have a busy household myself (6 dogs, 2 cats, and a snake!), my daughter will **NEVER** be left alone with your pet, nor will she be allowed to closely interact with your animals or touch any items/decor in your home. *Service Logistics: For walks, she will be secured in her stroller. For drop-in visits, she will be securely held in a hip seat carrier the entire time. *Meet & Greets are Mandatory: If you are at all unsure how your pet reacts to babies or strollers, we **MUST** do an initial meet & greet to ensure it is a safe, perfect fit for everyone! Here’s more about me! I’ve been in veterinary medicine for 5 years, I have my vet assistant certification, currently in tech school, pet CPR and first aid certified, as well as fear free certified (definition at end). I’ve taken care of everything from horses, goats, reptiles, cats, dogs, mice, hamsters, and many more. I am capable of giving oral/topical/injectable medications, as well as nail trims, baths, anal glands, ear cleanings, etc. Any grooming services will need to take place on days my husband is off of work since I would need to leave my baby home. Before WV, my husband & I were in Waco, TX (Jan 2024-Jan 2026), before then we were in Virginia where I started my vet med career. I am no stranger to all types of dogs from fearful, excited, happy, calm, young or old, large breeds, small breeds, etc. We personally have 5 pitties, 1 mastiff mix, 2 cats, and a snake. Back in VA, we also had turkeys & chickens. In previous years I’ve had an iguana, fish, 2 bearded dragons and a hamster. I am currently taking a break from working in a veterinary clinic as I am a stay at home mom for the next few years, so my availability is mostly wide open for anything you may need. Don’t hesitate to reach out! 🙂 Fear Free Philosophy: I am highly familiar with Fear Free principles and prioritize your pet's emotional well-being. I focus on reducing fear, anxiety, and stress (FAS) by using gentle handling, positive reinforcement, and a calm, patient approach to make sure your fur baby feels safe and comfortable with me! I received my fear free certification in May 2025. Three of our own dogs are highly anxious in new situations & around new people, I am very familiar & confident in my ability to handle anxious pets.

I will never bring my own animals to someone else’s home. I would prefer to do a meet & greet first to ensure we all get along & a run through of my duties, but it is not absolutely necessary for last minute bookings.

Brittany took great care of our girl as always! I love that she leaves detailed report cards for the visits.
Brittany looked after our boy, Brute, for nearly 8 months while we worked 6 days a week & mostly 10 hour days to finish up a work project. We could not have done it without her daily visits for his potty breaks & companionship. She is extremely knowledgeable, dependable, communicates well, and has gone above & beyond without hesitation a few times when a situation has come up. Our dog is a rescue and she was always sensitive to his needs with a gentle hand yet firm when he was stubborn. 5 stars for sure! Thank you, Brittany!

Brittaney is a solid sitter and will do whatever is needed, including cleanups, in taking care of our senior beagles! Will call on her again in the future.
Brittany is so sweet to our girl and does such a great job for us. She is always on time for drop ins and makes sure to leave us a detailed report card. It gives us peace of mind knowing our girl is well cared for.

Since I am home full time, I would be able to let pets out as frequently as needed, drop in visits in your home, walks around your neighborhood, etc.
