I work from home full time so I have a fairly flexible schedule which comes in handy for dogs needing a little extra care. I understand the importance of keeping them on a schedule whether it be for walks or medication.

Safety, trust & environment
My primary goal is to make sure your dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone else, and I take that responsibility seriously. I provide personalized care based on each dog’s routine, temperament, energy level, and specific needs. I do my best to keep feeding times, walks, medications, exercise, and daily routines as consistent as possible. I also have experience caring for senior dogs and dogs with medical needs, including oral medications, injections, and special diets. Our home is currently pet-free, which allows me to give visiting dogs my full attention. This can be especially helpful for dogs who prefer a calmer space or do better without other resident pets. I also have a fenced yard for supervised outdoor time. I’ll keep you updated with photos, videos, and notes so you know how your dog is doing while you’re away. I’m happy to follow detailed care instructions and answer any questions before or during your dog’s stay.

Information brittany d. would like to know about your pet
I like to know as much as possible about your dog’s normal routine so I can keep their stay consistent and comfortable. Helpful details include feeding schedule, medications, potty habits, energy level, leash behavior, sleeping routine, and any fears, triggers, or separation anxiety.
A typical day
I love to go on daily walks for exercise and miss having a furry companion with me. I typically walk anywhere between 2-5 miles a day either on walking paths near my home or parks and depending on the dog I would love to bring them along! My neighborhood also has a dog run area great for throwing a ball and socializing.

Calm, experienced dog care
Pet care experience
I have a deep love for dogs and years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of different ages, breeds, temperaments, and medical needs. I previously cared for my own two senior diabetic dogs, one of whom also had a heart condition and Cushing’s disease, so I understand the importance of patience, routine, trust, and careful attention to detail. I am comfortable with senior dogs, special diets, oral medications, injections, and dogs who need a little extra care. Our home is currently pet-free, which allows me to give visiting dogs my full attention and can be a good fit for dogs who do better without other resident pets. I’m also the go-to pet sitter for family dogs and love giving dogs walks, attention, playtime, and affection based on their individual needs. Safety is always my priority, and I follow owner instructions closely so your dog feels safe, comfortable, and cared for.

Reviews

Brittany took great care of our pup, shared pictures, and was easy to communicate and work with. Would definitely book again!

Brittany was an excellent sitter for our pup. She was very responsive to communication, sent plenty of pics, and hosted a meet & greet upon first contact. She was very receptive to all of our information & very clearly took great care of our dog. She was up front about any additional info that might be a concern - any kids or other dogs coming by the house - and was able to accommodate our dogs needs perfectly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to others!
brittany d. cancelled a booking 2 days before it was scheduled to begin.

This review is a long time coming! Brittany and Lukas have been watching Smokey for a year now and I am so blessed to have found them. Smokey is an older dog and needed lots of meds and Brittany was always so patient and reliable.
