I work 8-4 Monday through Friday. I live 20 minutes away and usually come home on my lunch break at 12 to let my dogs out and to let them run and play. I wake up early to take care of my chickens and ducks and let my dogs run around for about 30 minutes outside. With other dogs, we might wake up a little earlier and go on a trail or just walk up and down the road(.5miles) maybe more if needed. We then come inside and eat and drink and they are usually ready to go back to bed by the time I leave for work. On my days off we are outside constantly. If your dog is an introvert or loves ac, we do also let our dogs on the furniture for extra lounging. 🤣 At night we do a bit more outside since we make our rounds to make sure the birds are safe and fed and maybe another walk in the woods. Before bed, we do tick checks just in case!

I care for all pets like my own and all pets have the same freedoms as my fur babies(unless specified so your doggo doesn't come home with any habits you don't want them to have). I have blankets on my couches and dog beds all over the house.

Just let me know if your dog has a special routine or specific needs. Or even if you're working on specific training. I'm not a dog trainer by any means, but I have taught my dogs manners and am happy to help reinforce what you're working on with them. If your dog is food aggressive or territorial, let me know. We can work around it, but it is nice to not have to find out the hard way for these things.
A typical day
We love to go on hikes and sometimes for a swim. We love playing Frisbee and fetch and tug-of-war. The pond and the creek can sometimes get your furbabies smelling a little ripe, but if that's the case, we can rinse off in the hose. Inlike to spend most of my free time outside and the dogs like joining me! If your dog wants to be inside, I will not force them to be out.

I have taken care of dogs and cats since I could walk. Pets have always been an addition in my family. I have also pet sat for friends and family when they have needed. To me, pets are family and I have always taken care of them like that. When I'm trusted to take care of someones pet, I treat them like their baby. We have 3.5 acres of farm and woodland. 1 acres is wooded and we have a trail and creek to play in. If things get too messy, we can always rinse off in the hose. I have a lead out back, but if your dog doesn't need it great! If your dog requires a little more, I have a fenced in area behind the barn that we can venture to as well. I live on a private drive, so not a lot of traffic and its nice and peaceful.

Brittany and her husband were wonderful host for my older dog. They were so accomadating with our last minute reservation. They were easy to work with and flexible with my schedule. I would definitely recommend them to anyone! 5 stars all day!
First time stepping away from a camp/board type place and I am very pleased with my experience. Brittany is a nature and animal lover, and it shows! Wilma and Olive had a blast exploring Brittany’s property as well as going on daily trail walks and playing the creek. Communication was great, with daily pictures and videos of both my girls living their best lives ? Brittany is well attuned to pets needs, as she has an elderly dog- and can provide a quiet place for your pet to relax or a day full or activities to wear them out! 100% recommend ????
