Welcome to Empowered Dog sitting : I am a full time dog sitter, walker, and trainer. Currently I have two dogs I rescued, a seven year old German Shepherd and my new addition a one year old German Shepherd. It is all thanks to my first dog that I found a passion for dog training and ended up in this industry. Because I’ve worked with multiple trainers with my own dog, I am well versed in many different styles of dog training. I have shadowed leaders in the industry learning about dog behavior and working with many different breeds and temperaments. I am constantly learning more and investing my time, energy, and money into training so I can be the best dog sitter, walker, and trainer for your canine. I have over 15 years of experience working with animals including but not limited to Dogs, Cats, Birds, and Rabbits. I have also completed Rover 101 for pet care best practices and successfully passed Rovers background check. Please check out my reviews to hear from my past & current clients! My services include dog walking, pet sitting, and drop-in visits. You can probably guess I’m a sucker for German Shepherds since adopting mine. I've fallen in love with the breed. Because of this I find many clients reach out to me who need an experienced handler with large breed dogs like German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Dobermans, etc. AND I still love working with the smaller breeds! I have experience with dogs who are reactive on leash, and need lots of structure and awareness. I am experienced in using many different tools like slip leash, prong, ecollar and if your dog is more simple that is GREAT as well! I am happy to accommodate what the owner needs and uses. Many high energy dog breeds need lots of attention and training to wear them out! Just request a structured walk, this will include us practicing door manners, leash manners, and we can even work on “place”. I am here to help make dog ownership easier on you, so let's work together to set you and your dog up for success! For in-home dog sittings you can bet I will do some fun training with your dog so they not only get physical exercise but also mental exercise.

Schedule
As stated above this is my full time job. I have overnight clients that I stay with in the evenings and do multiple check ins throughout the day with them. Making sure they are fed, exercised, and loved on. When I’m not with my overnight clients I’m busy walking dogs, caring for my own dog & making time for family.
