When staying at your home with your pets, I treat your space and animals as if they are my own, considering that you have entrusted me with something very special and important to you… I will make sure your pets spend plenty of time outdoors and keep to their daily routines; I’ll prioritize feeding them nutritious meals. However, I will closely adhere to any dietary preferences and specific instructions you provide.

Do your pets have quirks, are they energetic or aggressive when around others or when approached by a new dog walker or sitter? I need to know now! It would be helpful to their routines in advance, let me know if your pet (or farm animal); provide special needs that need to be addressed and provide Vet information, trusted contacts and instructions in case of emergency. What your pet likes/dislikes is always a good place to start!
A typical day
I prefer and enjoy to keep dogs active; walks through the local neighbor hood, parks, trails they are used to are perfect for this…and, yes, I am happy to oblige their need to play at-home with their toys!

It all started helping as a kid and evolved to finding work that was both healing and enjoyable as an adult. I’m familiar with handling and commands, basic grooming, being pack leader and in cases there is an end of life situation, I have handled getting the pet to the vet.
