I believe animals, dogs in particular, should be treated as anyone else would like to be treated. Dogs are seen as an equal in my eyes and nothing less. I have had several dogs in my life time. I take care of my dogs like they are my actual children, so I would do that to anyones dog because they are a loved one. I have owed a yorkshire terrior, shih tzu, golden retriever, black lab, bulldog/pit bull mix breed, american bull dog, chow chow, and a boxer. My family loves dogs and I have loved them since I can remember. Lastly, every dog is different so an pet caretaker should take the time to learn the needs of the animal and cater to those needs.
