She watched our dog over the long weekend, and she was great.

Here's a polished version of your review: My experience with Britanie was excellent. She took great care of my dog and kept me updated throughout the stay by sending pictures and messages. I really appreciated her communication and attention to detail. She was also very flexible with both pick-up and drop-off times, which made everything convenient and stress-free. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter.

It was the first time my cat was left with a stranger and everything went exceptionally well. Brittanie is awesome.

She is an excellent dogsitter

Unfortunately, my experience with this sitter—and with Rover’s support—was deeply disappointing. My dog became ill while in the sitter's care, and I agreed to pick him up immediately. When I arrived, he smelled strongly, almost like he’d been on a farm, had wood chips in his fur (despite being regularly groomed), and wasn’t himself. Once home, his illness continued, and from what I observed, it’s clear he didn’t receive the attentive care he needed which would have prevented the illness. To make matters worse, Rover’s support offered no meaningful help. They refunded only a single day of the booking and charged me a cancellation fee, despite the circumstances. Their response felt dismissive and profit-driven, with little regard for the animals or their well-being. I won’t be using this sitter again and wouldn’t recommend Rover’s services to pet owners who expect genuine care and accountability.

One never really knows how their pet was at a sitter. We can only tell by our pets change of attitude. I am happy to say PJ seems the same as usual.
