I’m a recent physician assistant graduate waiting to receive state licensure, so I do have some free time on my hands. I intend to keep my availability calendar as accurate and up to date as possible! I also never leave pets alone unless owners feel comfortable and give explicit permission to do so.

A typical day
I would love to be accommodating to your preferences, whether that includes going on long walks , having toy or puzzle time, or just laying around and cuddling! I have even taken some pups hiking or on trips to the lake/beach with permission from owners.

Pet care experience
I have grown up around dogs my entire life. Having personally raised a geriatric dachshund with special needs, a rescue bully breed, and a high energy Belgian Malinois, I am comfortable with dogs of various activity levels, care needs, and general mannerisms. Additionally, I have experience working at a doggy daycare which provided canine and feline first aid training as well as animal behavior training.

Britta was amazing!! She took the best care of our girl and our home! They went for so many long walks and outings. She was also great about sending me pictures and updates throughout the day. I could tell my dog was so happy and well taken care of during their visit. I would highly recommend Britta!
Britta was fantastic with our Boys! She was communicative in advance of the stay and sent so many photos of all their good times and walks during the weekend. She stayed at our house and completely spoiled the dogs with attention and love. It was a true pleasure leaving our “Babies” in her care while we were away.
We hired 3 other pet sitters for Bodie over the past couple of years before turning to Britta for a week-long vacation. She has been by far the best choice we’ve made. She provided excellent care for Bodie, following instructions and asking good questions when needed. As a bonus she even cleaned up before she left so we came home to a happy dog and a clean house!
Britta was an excellent dig sitter! Every day Britta sent pictures of our dog playing in the backyard. When she left she striped the sheets, took out the trash and left the front door lights on for us. I would highly recommend Britta to my friends.
