Hi! We’re Britt & James — lifelong dog lovers, experienced pet sitters, and proud pup parents to our sweet girl Jessie 🐾 Between the two of us, we’ve cared for countless dogs of all breeds, ages, and personalities. James works from home full-time, so pups are rarely left alone and always have company throughout the day. Britt works a flexible hybrid schedule, allowing plenty of time for walks, playtime, enrichment, and snuggles. We each bring something a little different to the table: Britt has a soft spot for senior dogs and experience with pups who need extra patience and TLC, while James is great at keeping energetic dogs active, engaged, and entertained. Together, we make a calm, attentive team that truly loves getting to know each dog’s unique personality and needs. We live in a quiet New Orleans neighborhood with a fully enclosed backyard featuring double-secured fencing — perfect for safe play, sunbathing, zoomies, or just sniffing around. Our home is cozy, dog-friendly, and set up to comfortably accommodate different routines. Whether your dog is playful, shy, cuddly, independent, young, senior, or somewhere in between, they’ll be treated like family here. We maintain a calm, thoughtfully managed home environment with our pup, Jessie 🐾 She’s a gentle, easygoing dog who has been doing great with others, and we’re very intentional about compatibility when accepting bookings. We only overlap stays when it feels like a great fit for everyone involved, and we’re always happy to do slow introductions or keep dogs fully separate if needed. Your dog’s comfort and safety always come first. We live in a cozy, converted New Orleans shotgun-style house that’s easy to section off depending on your pup’s needs — whether they prefer their own space or like to stay close by. We also have a double-secured fenced yard that’s perfect for safe outdoor play and potty breaks. Since we both work from home (James full-time, Britt hybrid), your pup will rarely be left alone and will always have a calm, animal-loving presence around. Britt is especially experienced with senior dogs and special routines, while James is patient and gentle with shy or nervous pups, particularly those who may need extra time warming up to men. We’re happy to accommodate crate training, medication, and specific routines to help your dog feel safe, comfortable, and truly cared for while they’re with us.

Great communication and very easy drop off and pick up. I felt confident Lyla was in good hands and picked up a very happy dog at the end of her stay. Would definitely use again:)

Britt and James were a dream come true. This was my first rover experience, and I was nervous as we’ve had some negative boarding experiences in the past. As soon as we walked in Britt had a bone prepared and Kylo immediately jumped on the couch happy as can be. Their love for pets is palpable and I could not recommend them more for any of your pet sitting needs. Thanks a million!
We were so happy to have found Britt and James to watch our boy while we spent a night out in the city! We could tell that they are very sweet and caring and sent lots of cute pics and even included a thank you card in his gear bag! So sweet! If we are ever back in New Orleans with Wilkie we will definitely send him for another play date with his new friends ❤️

Daily Schedule: James works from home full-time, so dogs are rarely left alone during the day. Britt works a hybrid schedule, which allows flexibility for walks, playtime, enrichment, and plenty of one-on-one attention. Time Alone: Dogs are typically not left alone for more than a few hours at a time. Walks & Potty Breaks: Regular walks and backyard potty breaks are built into our daily routine. We’re happy to follow your dog’s normal schedule as closely as possible. Overnights: We’re home overnight and keep a calm, consistent evening routine.
