I have been working in a dog boarding facility for 9 years, currently as a manager, and have gained a great amount of knowledge from dog handling skills, to first aid, to administering many different types of medications. I have even some done more specialized care for some clients such as feeding a ME dog in a high chair, given insulin injections to diabetic dogs and caring for dogs with behavioral issues. Earlier this year I attended a trainer/handler course where I worked with detection dogs, followed by 3 months of cargo screening jobs with an explosive detection dog. Besides my experience with dogs, I also grew up with a variety of different pets/livestock and have a huge passion for animals.

Britney did a last-minute drop in visit for me when I had to do an emergency overnight stay out-of-state; I'm super grateful that she felt comfortable enough to drop-in on an animal she hadn't yet met! She communicated with me about everything, and sent super cute pics of my cat. This is my first time using Rover (and my first time leaving my cat alone overnight) and I'm so pleased, especially with the service Britney provided! I was so relieved knowing that Valkyrie would be taken care of while I was away. Thank you!

Schedule
Though I do work full time, I love caring for pets in my free time and have a schedule that allows for that. I have availability most afternoons and a few days off of my regular job where my focus is my clients.
